it always starts the way it ends

It all started with our smile
Just some hope for an intance
Blinded in smaller trials
Lost to pink plastic tiles
I couldn't see you from that distance

A twist of fait is all it took
The smallest voice just called to me
And there you were with just one look
You were perfect in my book
For just a moment we were happy

As I loved to see you near
I felt the cold and lying touch
As it whispered in my ear
I fell right to it out of fear
I used it only as my crutch

I couldn't bare your dissapoinent
So I hid what was the truth 
you were told complety different
But the way your face gave judgement
You denied it but you always knew

As suspicion grew and grew
Your smile began to fade away
guilt broke me into something new
Under my eyes, dark line they drew

In one moment, there I was
My life came to a screeching halt
Beaten down by my worst flaws
And torn open by their angry jaws
It's worse to know it's all my fault

Now that you're gone
I began to realize
You were the one
Now that no one has won
Only darkness haunts his eyes

It ended with a foul smile

That's when I realized
It always starts the way it ends
And it always will end
Because everything I touch
Slowly fades, and then dies

But that's okay
I'll always fake a smile
