It would be a cool idea if there was a child who could see people's demons and have them come to reality.

Let's say the child is very lazy. Then they would be able to see their demon of sloth. The lazier they are, then Sloth would become stronger.

This can also backfire with "good" habits. If a person cares so much for others that they don't care about themselves, then the child would see the demonic Angel personifying the trait. So on and so forth.

Or maybe the child would have the ability to use their demons to attack actual threats.

I'm mostly imagining this child being thrusted into an JRPG like setting where they either fight demons or use their demons to attack. Maybe both. Perhaps they could summon the demons from people they know/knew. Maybe it'll be sort of like Ni No Kuni: Wrath of the White Witch where though it mostly take place in a world where magic and fantastical stuff are, also travel back to the "real world" to go collect things and interact with people. The people whom are interacted with impact what happens in the other world.

I've mostly gotten inspired by watching "The Longest 5 Minutes" trailer and how Flash Back gets his abilities from reliving memories. But then again I subconsciously pulled a bunch of stuff from Ni No Kuni, so who knows.
