I woke up and turned to my nightstand to check my phone. When I turned it on I notice that I had slept in and it was now 12 in the afternoon, I also saw that I got a text from Joel so I decide to answer.
Joel: Hey I was wondering if you are free for some coffee?
Y/N: Sure what time and where?
Joel: The tim's we meet at last night and 12:45
Y/N: ok see you there
I got out of bed and walked into the bathroom to brush my teeth and do my hair, I then started to go through my closet looking for the perfect outfit. When I finally finish getting dress I check the time and saw that it was now 12:35, I then grabbed my phone and purse and started to make my way to the Tim Hortons.
I entered the Tim's and started looking around for Joel, I then spotted him sitting at a table near the window.
"Hey, I'm so sorry that I'm late" I said sitting down on the seat across from him
"No it's fine, I didn't know what to get you so I hope that this is fine" he says as he passes me a coffee and a chocolate chip muffin
"Thank you" I say taking a sip of my coffee
"Did you finish all the work you had to get done last night?" he asked
"Yeah I got it done when I came home"
We kept on talking and I learned that Joel was born in the Niagara Falls area, but he prefers to hang out around Toronto. I also leaned that he had two siblings an older sister and a younger brother, which made him the middle child.
I checked my phone to see that it was almost 2:00, and I had to start heading to work.
"This was really fun, let me pay you back for the coffee and muffin" I answered taking out my wallet from my bag
"No don't worry about it"
"But I feel bad if I don't give you anything, how about we have another coffee date and I'll pay this time"
"Another coffee date?" Joel smiled which caused me to blush
"Well if you want to?"
"I'll love too" Joel said giving me a hug before we left the store
