Chapter 1.

"

I'M BACK!" Y/n announced, out of breath; knocking on the door, standing infront of the entrance of her own house. It was a tiring day for her and all she wanted to do was relax. She was finally free from exams.*

Nine whole months of relaxation. Until than, she would be chilling, while watching her younger cousins gaze at her, with envious looks. She knew she couldn't blame them, it was going to be a long holiday for her - and she was ready for it!

"Good day, y/n," her mother greeted her with a smile on her face. "How was your exam? What was the result?"

"Mum!" Y/n smiled, hugging her tightly and pulling back. "I got the highest. Ninety-nine percent."

Her mother squealed, again hugging her tightly and kissing her cheek. Pulling back, she flashed her with one of her brightest smiles. "I had known that my little angel would always make me proud!"

She held her arm, gently and  pulled her inside. Y/n greedily took in the sweet aroma of baked pizza and ravioli. What a perfect sight to be greeted with!

Grandmother (gm/n) and grandfater (gp/n) both sat on the couch, their eyes on the television screen. Her father sat on a seperate sofa, his phone in his hand, scrolling through his Facebook feed. As soon as she took another step forward, they all gazed up - taking in the sight of her. Immediately, their lips were curved upwards.

Her father, (f/n s/n), stood up as soon as she neared him. He patted her head and kissed her forehead. "How was your day, dear?" He questioned, lovingly. "What was the result?"

Y/n took a deep breath and gazed around at her grandparents and her father again, who had worn their questioning expressions on. "I-" she began, "I got ninety nine percent!"

"Excellent!" He exclaimed, patting her shoulder. "I knew my daughter could do this! I am very proud of my children, indeed."

Y/n beamed at her father. She turned around to see her grandparents standing. "Well done, y/n!" Grandfather (gf/n) exclaimed, in a lively tone, patting her head. "Well done! You will get your reward for scoring such astounding marks."

"Thank you, grandfather," y/n smiled warmly, shaking her head. "But there's no need, all I need now, is some sleep."

"And you'll get loads of that, dearie!" Grandmother (gm/n) chuckled, kissing her cheek. "We're really proud of you."

"I'm glad to have known that, grandmother," y/n smiled, warmly, nodding her head. "I'll go to sleep, now."

"Aren't you going to have lunch, child?" Y/n's mother questioned. "There's ravioli and salmon."

"And I ordered pizza!" Her father exclaimed, from behind her.

"As much as tempting, it sounds," y/n sighed, "I'll eat later, please. I'm very tired."

"Okay, sweetie," Mother smiled, kissing her cheek. "Sleep well."

"I will," y/n chuckled, walking to the hallways, straight to her bedroom.
