And then the lights go out, as I was playing with my dolls the lights in my house went completely out. I look around helplessly as I drop my dolls and start shaking in pure fear, i'm scared of the dark so this is scary. Hot tears spill from my eyes as I hear footsteps in the hallway, I hope they aren't burglars. I hear the footsteps stop at the door of my playroom, and I freeze in fear I hear the door creak open and I see a dark figure in the doorway peering at me. I look down at the ground as it moves closer to me, it yanks me up by my arm and through my doorway. I'm beyond scared, and it throws me into a dark room with only a spotlight in the middle of the room. I get thrown in the area of the spotlight and it cackles at my helplessness. I start sobbing, hot tears rolling down my cheeks and I hear more cackles echoing through the room. I can make out more figures, but before I can stop crying one lunges at me and starts biting my limbs. I shriek in pure agony, and it starts clawing at my shoulders and legs more join in on attacking me and I try to fight back but I know I cannot win this. They cackle at my limp body laying on the pavement. I sob loudly because of the pure pain running through my whole body, one of the figures offers a hand and I reach out to take it but they pull away quickly and start cackling again. God i hate that laugh and I hate how I fell for that, I suddenly get enough strength to stand up and push my way through the figures. I see the doorway is lit up and i get a feeling of hope, as I walk through i close my eyes at how bright it is, then i jerk upwards in my bed. I rub my eyes and mumble to myself ''Just a dream, just a dream.''
