Let's all take a moment,
A moment to appreciate
Let's all appreciate our diversity,
And the things that make us unique
Unique from everyone else,
But not to the point we feel alone.
For as we are unique, we are also common
(Unique from others but also the same)
But for a long time our diversity,
Has been looked down upon by others.
For we as a country,
go through racism daily for our skin colour, and our accents.
To the point we try to erease everything of what makes us unique.
We can't wonder off alone at night without the threat of being attacked, just because we are Black, Latino, Immigrants, Native, or part of the Lgbtqa+ and so on.
Because if you're different, that automatically makes you either the bad guy or a servant.
Because if we show any interest or pride in our own culture, we are labeled an extremist.
So let's take a moment to appreciate.
