So that day is approaching.
The same day a lot of us were scared?
No that's not the right word
Shooked? Angry? Well sadness is the big one.
Days are passing in a blur,
As the entire country remembers that day.
The day when we all lost something,
The day when America, Land of the free, the home of the brave.
Crumbled
The same day where we as a nation became quiet,
The day that took our voices and our cheers
And turned them into screams and tears.
The day that we as a nation saw the towers fall,
And felt our fear rise.
So as the day approaches are voices, and our cheers
Get replaced with silent screams and tears.
