Inspired by Lust for Life by Lana Del Rey. It is HIGHLY suggested to listen to the song while reading for more of an emphasized story.

Everything seemed clean, pure, as some would say. It was all Gold and it all seemed like the night would go on forever. But that's what you would expect with being in a place like Canto Bight. Everything is bigger, bolder, and brighter. Kind of like Las Vegas for us humans, except it's crowded with aliens gambling away everything they have while multitasking with dealing weapons with both the First Order and The Resistance.

Rey was sent to Canto Bight not too long after having escaped Kylo Ren with the remaining resistance. Her objective was to gain new information by examining and 'Fitting in' with the rest of the people (aliens in human terms) to see if she could spot anybody doing more than just selling weapons to the First Order. Word got around there was a few people wandering about with loads of the money, but disguised as a moderate bar tender there.

Rey knew it couldn't be THAT hard, considering it wasn't like one of those fancy things that are called mask parties or whatever. The idea of that made her chuckle, but at least it wasn't that kind of night, other wise the job would be harder. Rey hadn't really thought of how long she'd be there but she knew that patience needed to be key to this mission. As anticlimactic as it would seem, instead of keeping low, Rey had to stand out. That meant wearing fancy clothes and talking in a strange manner, to her the manner is strange that is.

Her dress was completely white, not having what a human wedding dress would look like however. This was more 'sticky' as she would describe it. The unbearably tight dress stuck to Rey's sleek yet trimmed body like how gum sticks to under a school desk. Yes. It was that tight. But her hair was loose, having it down. A rare sight indeed but Rey didn't mind it to much. One of the more feminine girls she fought with at the Resistance had done her makeup and hair. It was curly, very curly at that, but not as curly as the 1980's trend. That would just be ridiculous, even for the Star Wars Universe. 80's hair is it's own species.

Rey's curly hair gently bounced in a calm yet flowy manner while slowly walking about the casino-like area. She examined people as she walked by, watching how people secretly cheated in their process of gambling, how some were getting kicked out for being either too poor or beyond the boundaries of drunk. One foot took a step upward, the other following the leading one as she stepped up onto the barely higher level of flooring. Even though Rey was wearing very uncomfortable white heels, she could tell by just the sight that the floors were perfectly polished marble, making her feel uneasy hence it being perfectly polished and just one wrong step could ruin it.

Taking a few more steps forward, Rey finally managed to make it to the bar. She sat down at one of the tall stools, Rey saying to herself quietly, "Thank the stars for heels. I'm too short for this sh-"

"What can I get you?" A tall, lean, and dark-haired man said to Rey, holding a shot glass with a towel in it, cleaning the insides of it. Rey was caught off guard from finishing her words as she looked up the man. His hair was pulled back with what seemed like bottles of grease. It was a hell of a sight to see, but he did seemed pretty clean with hair like that. His nose was kind of big, his lips not completely plump, but Rey had no say in that seeing as her lips aren't like the trendy ones we human find in style.

He looked so familiar to her, but why? Rey had never been to this place before so how would she know him? At least she thought she had never been here before. The familar man asked again, having a concerned hitch in his voice this time, "Madam?" Rey's eyes widened, shaking her head as she looked forward to him and having a cheeky smile towards the tall man, "Uh yes, um, anything will do. I'm not picky." The man nodded, turning around and bending under the cabinet to grab a few things to mix her a drink up with. Rey investigated him and the bar when he wasn't looking, thinking to herself, 'Nice bum no joke about that... but where is his tag? Do they even wear tags...?'
