Marrying the one you love is the best thing you would ever do in your entire life. Not only by loving a person forever, but also building a family together.

Mr. & Mrs. Richard Faulkerson celebrates Golden Anniversary with their children, grandchildren and some relatives at the Faulkerson's residence in Laguna. Who would have thought, meeting in a longest running noontime show Eat Bulaga could possibly way to the future they never expected to be.

The journey wasn't easy for them to ride on. Bumpy roads. Ups and downs. Obstacle courses and other roller coaster rides came up.

Even before they got married, many controversial issues was thrown about them, knowing that they are a showbiz personality. One example, having an affair to another celebrity or people outside the industry.

However, destiny led them in a glorious life despite its mess.

And at this point, they are still going strong and looking forward to cherish more years to come as a married couple.

"Let's proceed in knowing what message they have for each other, Mom and Dad?" Sebastian, the oldest son, served as the MC of the party.

"Ikaw na mahal mauna." Maine said.

"Hindi ikaw na love. Ladies first." The old gentleman Richard contradicted.

"Sige na ikaw na."

"Hindi ikaw na talaga."

"Ako nalang kaya e no'?" Charmaine, the youngest and the spoiled brat daughter intefered while rolling her eyes.

"Ano ba yan Ma and Pa hanggang ngayon mga pabebe parin kayo? Wala na kayo sa Eat Bulaga uy at wala ng splitscreen." Their youngest son Seigfried chimed and chuckled. Remembering his parents' Kalyeserye in EB.

Then, everyone in the living room laughed.

"Sige na nga ako na maguumpisa," Richard grinned.

"Menggay, asawa ko, nanay ng mga anak ko at lola na ngayon, Happy 50 years to us. Hindi ko naimagine na aabot tayo hanggang dito. You know how much I love you from the beginning. Since the day I got to know you better, wala I can't stop myself, nahulog na ko nang tuluyan sayo..." He paused and looked into her eyes sternly.

"Marami man ang nanghinala sa pagmamahal ko para sayo, sari-saring batikos ang natanggap natin at kung ano ano pang problema na sinubok ng panahon. Sa awa ng Diyos, nalagpasan lahat dahil namayani ang pagmamahal na meron tayo sa bawat isa. Wala na kong hihilingin pang iba kundi ang makasama ka. Paulit ulit man hindi ako magsasawa. Ma, katulad nang ipinangako ko sa harap ng altar, mamahalin kita habambuhay. Thank you for staying with me through ups and downs. Hindi ko nga alam bakit napagtiisan mo ko ng ganito katagal. I'm so sorry too sa lahat ng pagkakataon na nasaktan kita. Hindi ko sinasadya. Ikaw lang at ako. I love you." He approached his wife, kissed her temple, nose, cheeks and finally his favorite soft lips.

She wiped her husband eyes as tears began to fall. "Kahit kailan, napakaiyakin mo."

"Parehas lang tayo. Ikaw na."

"Mahal, ano ba? Hindi ko alam paano sisimulan. Happy 50th sa atin. Ang tagal na pala. Parang kailan lang ang liliit pa nung mga anak natin," She breathe in and out for a while.

"Hindi ko rin naimagine na tatagal tayo ng ganito. Thank you sa lahat. Sa pagtitiyaga na ibinigay at ibibigay mo pa sa akin. Sa pagmamahal na hindi ko naman hinangad pero kusa mong ipinaramdam. Thank you sa mga magaganda't gwapong anak. Thank you for making my dream house come true. Sorry kung nasusungitan kita, kilala mo naman ako diba? Pero lambing ko lang din yun sayo. Sana huwag kang magsasawa. Wala ka nang dapat patunayan dahil napatunayan mo na ang sarili mo noong nabubuhay pa sila nanay at tatay kaya kahit anong mangyari andito lang din ako para sayo at sa mga anak natin. Basta mahal na mahal kita. Sana palagi kang masaya. Tayo. You were the best thing that ever happened to me. I love you more, Pa ng buhay ko." She hugged her husband's waist and kissed his right cheek.

The Faulkerson siblings joined their parents filled with utmost love and gratitude that no one can replace in this world.
