Today was a day unlike all others. It was raining, horrendously. Emma the llama did not want to get out of bed, let alone go to school. Emma was sad because she promised her friend Jess the alpaca that she would wear a dress today. Emma did not want to wear a dress in the rain, and was really depressed that she would have to break her promise to her best friend.
Emma has not yet seen Jess at school and hopes Jess's blindness will make her not see that Emma is not in a dress. Emma does not want to let her best friend down, but she did not feel well enough to wear a dress. Emma hopes that Jess will not be disappointed by her best friend.
