Hey everyone, bumblebee here, you probably remember me from all the hype and news articles, but now I've found a new life, I'm still an autobot by all means but with the war over and Cybertron restored, it just doesn't feel the same as it has before. So I've decided to come back to earth, and I found a girl! Her name is Dakota, and I currently live with her in California. At first we weren't much but this is our story of success, it's how she made me a hero as well as a champion.

After returning to earth I was up for sale on another one of those retched used car lots in a town called San Jose. I was there for days before anyone even took a look at me! A salesman named Logan has been keeping me up, still oblivious to my cybertronian form and ability, but nonetheless caring.
He'll wash me once a month or so and drive me around the lot to warm up my tires, but that's about the extent of it.
I was pretty much expecting to rust here for a few years before getting out, that is...until one day....

A car pulled up, which didn't mean much to me since I had seen tons of cars come and go over the months. But out of it stepped the most beautiful creature I've ever laid my eyes on. I perked up and watched her, she was looking all around, until Jerry, another salesman noticed them.
They spoke briefly for a few minutes before he pointed right at me! I couldn't believe it!
'They have to be looking at another car' I told myself attempting not to get too hopeful.
But she froze, and I had to admit I was a tad self conscious, they walked over and her father had a smile on his face when she began walking quicker towards me, and sure enough I was in her sights.
Her eyes teared up and she laid a hand on my hood. I couldn't help feeling my own spark swell in anticipation of the moment.
She was so happy! Which rubbed off on me a bit haha!
"She's a beaut!" Her dad spoke, and she shot him a glare
"He"
"Excuse me?"
"Did you just assume his gender?" She chuckled with a cocked eyebrow.
Jerry undid the little lockbox on my window and handed her the keys, she hesitated not a single moment before hopping in the drivers seat. She ran her delicate fingers over my steering wheel and started me up, testing the pedals as everyone stood in awe of my rumbling engine.
Her and I sat in the silence of its beautiful noise together as she continued to admire my interior, her father and Jerry spoke more outside before they shook hands.
Her dad peeked in "Hey kiddo, good news"
She gripped my wheel rather firmly for a moment before looking straight at him
"WAIT! REALLY!?...DAD I-....I DONT EVEN"
She began to cry and I was slightly confused before I realized they were happy tears.
"I'm gonna go talk to this guy, do not Leave the Lot okay?"
"Gotcha!"
Jerry waved goodbye and shouted a "lock her up before you come in!"
She acknowledged him and then spoke to me "I know you're not a girl...don't listen to them Bee"
I just about choked on my own oil when she said that! How on earth did she know my name! Wait! Did she know who I was!?
My helm ached for a moment before she giggled. Then her faced dropped, and her head rested against my wheel
"I just wish you could actually hear me..."
close call was all I could think
Turns out, she had watched all the news and heard of me! And wanted a car exactly like me.
The thought was flattering, I wasn't "creeped out" as humans call it, but I wonder if she knows what she's in for.
The girl cared for me so tenderly.
And sat in me for hours at that lot before her father, Jerry and Logan walked out.
Jerry handed her the keys
"She's all yours" he winked, handing her father the Paperwork and shaking hands with him
Logan leaned down to her "be good to him and he'll be good to you" he shot her a wink and I smiled to myself.
It was time to be off to my new home.

Pulling off the lot onto oncoming traffic she spoke to her dad
"So dakota-"
Dakota...that's her name
Her father continued speaking "does it feel like Bee?"
She nodded and held in a squeak while biting her lip holding back tears.
"It is bee"
He rolled his eyes
"You know it's not real right? It's just a car"
She ignored him
"You ready for the moment bud?" She smiled
Hooking up her phone to my Bluetooth and playing "black and yellow" by wiz kalifa
She sung her heart out and danced in my seat the whole way home
I hadn't expected a 7 and 1/2 hour drive but when we arrived it was totally worth it!
They called it Big Valley, it was a quiet little valley in Northern California, with four towns, one of which was the one I was in, a quaint population of 42 people and mountains all around us.
She pulled into the driveway and got out, unpacking their bags and heading inside,
But she came back out and talked to me
"I hope you like it here, I'm go glad you're here, I've waited ten years for this moment and I owe everything to you"
What did she mean?
"I know I'm probably crazy for thinking that my car can actually understand me! But I literally owe it all to you, seeing you on the news, I wanted you so badly! I was so alone and you just made me so happy, I'm here because of you" she set a hand on my hood and looked at me tenderly
"I love you bumblebee"
I wanted to tell her, I was going to tell her, I just had to find a way first...

After they were in the house I transformed into my bipedal self, stretching my legs out under the stars, I could really get used to this place, it was out of the way and I could go check some things out in my spare time, but for now I chose to stay here, it felt good to have a home again
