Her POV
*Bell rings*
"Okay good bye everyone" our teacher bids good bye to us.
"Good bye Ms. Sherilyn" we said together and immediately fixed our stuffs.
"Hey nica care to come with us? Pupunta kami sa bahay ni Quin. We will play at her garden with her new toys."
"Sorry I can't, mommy will cook for dinner tonight so I have come home early." I have to come home early because we decided to have a family dinner before daddy comes next
week.
"Are you sure? Quin will get mad at -"
"Nica!" She suddenly hugged me, but then something changed for a minute. Like something bad will happen.
"Oh hey Quin" I smiled at her but deep inside I really want to go home. I'm tired because of the notes that our teacher has given us earlier. And also because of what I've felt.
"Are you ready?"
"Ready for what?"
"You know!" She's giving looks na
parang nag aaya.
"Duhhh the one at our house. You promise me that we will play."
"Sorry Quin, I really can't. I'll make it up to you. Bye!" I hurried myself out of our classroom and proceeded walking at the side walk.
I was humming my favourite song while pretending that I was holding a microphone and singing my heart out in my head.
I stop for a minute when I saw a cat in front of me. Nagmadali akong pumunta sa itim na pusang iyon. At habang palapit ako ay hindi ko na mapigilan ang aking sarili na mahawakan ang pusang 'yon. I really love cats.
"Hello" I raised my voice a little bit so I can attract it. At mukang naaliw naman siay sa pag lapit ko sa kaniya kaya naman mas lumapit ito saakin. The cat was purring a lot.
"Hey there little kitty, why are you here so alone?" I asked it even if I know that it will not answer.
"Okay little kitty bye bye, I have to go."
Tumayo na ako at nag simula ng mag lakad.
