The Exploits Of Remus Lupin

Chapter 1

Remus stood on the rickety boards of platform 9 3/4, quivering with fear. His dad, noticing the fear evident on young Remus's  face, bent down. "Remus." he said. "It's alright. No one is going to judge you. Jesus above knows it isn't your fault".

  Remus, a sliver of hope in his body, told his dad goodbye, and heaved his heavy trunk up the steps. "Do you need some help with that?" a boy who couldn't have been older than remus, with shiny black hair that was not quite sitting in the right place. Remus nodded his head yes, then whimpered a squeaky "thank you". "My name is james by the way. James potter," the boy said.  "Remus" the other boy said.   Remus stopped at a empty compartment. "Oh no, you simply must not sit by yourself," James said. Remus looked confused. "Well come on then" James said. Remus followed awkwardly.   

    James had stopped at a compartment that's door was slightly ajar. There were two other boys, one slightly pot-bellied with longish blond hair. And the other with a olive complexion, with curly black hair threatening to overtake his face.  "Boys, this is remus," James said. The boys greeted him warmly.  "Remus, this is peter, and Mr. Curly hair over there is sirius".  James, plopping down next to sirius, motioned Remus to sit next to peter. He sat gracefully. "So-o" Sirius said, drawing out his words. "10 galleons says  james ends up in slytherin because of his horribly well thought out pranks." Peter snorted into his muggle water bottle. Remus only knew this because he had seen one outside the leaky cauldron. And remus, being his naturally curious self asked in a hushed tone, " Daddy,what is that?" "It's a muggle water bottle ," he had replied with disgust. Remus had said nothing after that.  "Oh-ho" James said.  I bet Remus and I will make it into Gryffindor," James said.  "What do you want to bet!, Sirius asked excitedly. "Mmm," James said. Then, his eyes went wide, and he shouted, "Whoever loses has to kiss.   Snivellus mc. Greasy!" "DONE" sirius shouted. Remus was still in shock that anyone would bet that he would bet that he would get into such a noble house. While Peter talked about hos mother's embarrassing kisses and hugs. But Remus, tired because of his condition, settled against the bench, and fell asleep quickly.
