Wrong Timing

Jaiden cried all night, she was restless. Liam couldnt seem to make her stop crying. He doesnt know what to do now.

~The next day~

Jaiden's still sobbing, her heart still ached. She was holding her chest when James called her. It wasnt a face call.

James: Hey Jaiden, Liam called me and said you wont stop crying... Are you okay?

Jaiden: Sorta... -sniffs-

James: I'm coming over

Jaiden: Dont... Let's just meet at the park okay, maybe 5...

James: Why 5?

Jaiden: I still have to animate and... I need to recover a bit

James: Okay... See ya Jaid

Jaiden: See ya

Call Ended

~5 PM~

Jaiden asked Liam that she'll just meet up with James at the park. He accepted it and gave her a kiss on the cheek.

~At the park~

Jaiden was walking through the park grounds, when she spotted James. James opened his arms and was offering her a hug.

A tear dropped on Jaiden, she rushed to James crying and hugged him.

James: There, there... There, there... What's wrong Jaiden?

Jaiden: I just...

James: Come on, tell me

Jaiden: P-promise you wont hate me after this

James: Cross my heart

Jaiden: Well... My heart ached... I was in great pain... I was so upset when I saw you and Angelica happy together... I was ashamed of myself for treating you badly! I actually liked you before! But I thought falling inlove with your best friend would be weird, so I rejected you and I-

James: Dont you know how it hurts to get rejected by someone you love!...

Jaiden: I know! I was fool! I hated myself! Even if you were the one my heart was yelling, I declined it! I hate myself! I regretted the choices I've done in my life! I now know how much pain you felt... Go ahead and reject me! Go ahead and forget me! Neglect me! Ignore me! I deserve to experince the things I've done to you! I dont deserve people! I dont even deserve to have a friend like you! I'm a horrible human being! -sobs-

James: J-jaiden...

Jaiden: Just do anything you want to do with me! Just leave me here at the park!

Jaiden continued to cry. He didnt hear James' voice, she knew he left her. James left her. But then, someone hugged her from her behind. It was James.

James: I may have a girlfriend now, and I may not have the same feelings towards you like before when I had a crush on you. But I'll always be here by your side, no matter what... You dont deserve any of those. I know when we are young, still dumb and new to things... We could make mistakes. It's fine, I forgive you, even if I've felt pain for years...

Jaiden: James... Thank you! -still crying- I'm sorry I did those things to you

James: I understand, we were still young, dumb and amateurs. I forgive you, okay?

The two hanged out at the park. Star gazing under the starry night. Enjoying each other's company.

Jaiden's POV

My the pain disappeared, my heart beated happily. It felt so right being near James...
