Chapter 1: "Moon Spell"

Isabella's P.O.V

My name is Isabella Newman believe it or not I have a secret I'm a mermaid nobody knows. I go to Perth High School I have a little sister named Alice she's always annoying me. I go out to the sea every now and then to a secret cave that I call the moon pool while in the moon pool my best friend Elizabeth Walters and Ava Marks became a mermaids too. I tell my story to her as I grow. I was twelve years old my parents were busy so I went exploring it's like I was looking for something, like I've been drawn there. Then the full moon as rasin and turned me into a mermaid.

"Bella, hurry up!" Alice yelled. I was in the bath tube I flopped out and started t dry off as I dry off I remember that it's a full moon tonight my friend Ava and I have to be ready by three o'clock I came out of the bathroom and Alice went inside. "Bella, you here?" I heard Ava call.  "I'll be down in a minute." I yelled. "What do you guys think?" I asked while coming down the stairs. "You look great." I heard Luke come up behind me. He knows everything about Elizabetha, Ava, and I's big secret. "Well as it goes to show it's a full moon tonight." Luke said. "We know, Luke." Elizabeth said. ""We are going to have a sleep over at Ava's house so no light will get in." I said.

After school I went home to get my stuff I was all packed and ready to go when I noticed on my necklace it started to glow. I found in the bottom of the sea pool where I became a mermaid I've worn it ever since. I went downstairs and went out the door and drove to Ava's I came inside I looked around. Then I saw the moon's reflection in some water Luke came inside and closed the door the moon was gone. "You okay, Bella?" He asked me. "I'm fine." I said. "Okay, let's go in the living room." He said. "I want to go for a swim." I said. "But Bella, remember it's a full moon." He said.

"The Moon Pool is calling me." I said. "What's going on?" Elizabeth asks and so does Ava. "She wants to go for a swim." He told the girls. "I'm going for a swim, who want's to come with?" I asked. "Bella, you know we can't do that." Ava said. "We're happy when were mermaids let's go for a swim!" I said and went to open the door the moon was there in front of us. "Great, just what I needed three moonstruck mermaids." He said. We all went to the boardwalk Luke was following us. "Stop following us... the moon pool is calling." Ava said. We all jumped in. The next morning I wake up in my bed confused.
