Sometimes I find
My mind isn't mine
There's nothing I can do nor say about it
Sometimes I find
I feel dumber than I am
Like snipped tethers have released something vital
Sometimes I find
I'm in another world
Until I see where my feet are firmly planted
Sometimes I find
I am a mess of scattered pieces
With no clue how to put myself back
Sometimes I find
I must figure me out fast
Before what I've found is lost again
