Many would argue who came first, both say they are an hour older than the other, but neither truly know for sure. Olivia has always acted like the oldest. She is very protective of the things she loves and has a temper like any other Hale. She has the ability to have grown men running for the hills with just a single look. She is equally beautiful as terrifying. She's a lot to live up to. Chloe look a lot like her sister, they are identical twins, but she is nothing like her. She is so quiet, a bit shy, and extremely easy going. Hell would have to freeze over before Chloe lost her temper. She is also unbelievably sweet and forgiving. She's a saint. She is pure and innocent and Olivia feels it is her duty to protect her sister from anyone who wishes to destroy Chloe's untainted personality and body.

Those feelings only grew stronger when six years ago the twins watched their family home burn down with every single family member they had. The only people who survived with their two cousins who hadn't been home at the time and their father who had managed to crawl out of the basement and to freedom, but the fire did a lot to him and he has been in a coma ever since the fire.

With having no family to turn to, their cousins not being an option, they were forced to go to Mystic Falls where a family was willing to house them for a while. That family being the Forbes. Elizabeth Forbes is the sheriff of the small town of Mystic Falls and is the closest thing the twins have to a mother since their own burned alive. Elizabeth Forbes had just gone through a divorce when she took them in. She needed a full house in order to feel better, so she took the twins in and they soon became permanent. The twins' best friend is Caroline Forbes, their adopted sister. The three were as close as one could be and they'd do anything for each other.

The only thing the twins are really upset about is that they couldn't have been there for Caroline when she was heading home. Caroline, Matt Donovan, and Tyler Lockwood were heading home from the founder's party when they crashed. John Gilbert had a device that sent out a sound that made the vampires fall and go unconscious long enough for the hunters to lock them up, so the twins can only figure that it had something to do with the car crash, but no one in that was a vampire. The sound had also affected the twins, but they made sure to keep that secret. No one knew they were werewolves and they preferred to keep it that way.

The twins, however, were more concerned about their friend at the moment who is currently in the hospital. Chloe sits between Matt and her sister. She had her hands on her face, trying not to break down. The girl who she thought as another sister had yet to wake up and Chloe was terrified that she'd lose her.

"How's Caroline?" Chloe looks up as Bonnie Bennett, another of her friends, walks over to them. "Chloe?" Chloe, being the fragile one of the twins, can't handle having anyone she care about hurt and so upon seeing Bonnie, she bursts into tears. "Oh, Chloe, it'll be okay. It's all going to be okay. Shh." Bonnie rubs Chloe's back as she looks at Matt. "Please tell me Caroline is okay."

"She's not good, Bon." Matt says as Chloe cries harder. Olivia closes her eyes, her own strong walls falling down.

"What happened?" Bonnie asks as she pulls Chloe tighter into her arms.

"We were driving and Tyler heard this noise and he got---" Matt rubs his face.

"A noise?"

"He got like this migraine or something." Matt explains to them. "And he lost control of the car. And I thought that Caroline was fine, and then-and then she wasn't, so..."

"It's going to be okay, Matt." Olivia promises.

"I'm going to find, Mama Liz." Chloe whispers as she hurries down the hall.

"Clo-" Chloe wipes her eyes, sniffling heavily. They've been calling Sheriff Forbes Mama Liz since they were kids and it's second nature to them now. It seems bad to call her mom or anything, so Mama Liz was a way for them to call her something like that without feeling guilty.

"Mama Liz." She turns and sees Chloe. Chloe's eyes are bloodshot and very red. Anyone can tell she's been crying heavily.

"Oh, Chloe, come here." Chloe walks up to her and the blonde takes her into her arms. "It's okay-"

"Is Care going to make it?" Chloe cries.

"She's going to be okay, Chloe, she'll be okay."

"I can't loose another person." Chloe whispers. "I've already lost too many." Liz rubs Chloe's back trying to sooth the girl.

"You won't. They're doing everything they can." Chloe close her eyes.

"It won't be enough."

"Chloe-

"I'm going to go home. I-I can't be here. Hos-Hospitals remind me too much of... of when daddy got burned."

"Okay, honey, how about I drive you home and-

"No, you need to be here for Care. I can walk."

"I don't think."

"I'll drive her home Sherriff." Chloe turns and sees Bonnie standing there. "I'll stay with her too. She needs someone as much as you do. Olivia is going to stay here with you and Matt to keep an eye on Caroline, okay?" Liz sighs and looks at Chloe.

"Call me if you need to talk, okay, Clo?" Chloe nods and wraps her arms around Liz.

"I will Mama Liz." Chloe pulls away and give a sad smile. "I hope Caroline gets better soon." She takes Bonnie's hand and the two head out of the hospital.

"Are you okay, Chloe?" Bonnie asks.

"I lost my entire family, Bonnie and the family I have now is breaking.... It's shattering just like me."
