HER SMILE

"A Typical day like any other, I️t was sunny and alittle windy. School started at 8:05 and I️t was 7:55. "I had 10 mins left before I'm late and I already have 6 tardies, so if I get another, I'm gonna get detention" Trey says being in a rush." the car speeds up and hit a hard right, pulls up to the student parking lot.
" damn! Why are there so many cars!? Like every student got a car" he says looking puzzled with aggravation. Trey looks at his phone and the time was 8:01. *smack his teeth* I'll just park in the back.
the time was 8:02. he was so far away from the school, so he cut the car off, locked the doors, grabbed his bag and closed the door, he ran to the school with only 1 minuet to spare. his class was up stairs, so he kept running and when he was 4 meters away from the class. Trey was saying "wait..hold on I'm coming" reaching his hand out at the door the teacher was closing in front of him but the door shuts in his face and the late bell rings. Trey put his hand on his head and says "shit...now I have to get a tardy slip" he says with exhaustion as principal shaw walks by and says "woods! I knew I was gonna see you outside of yo class, late as usual" she says with disappointment. Trey replies with desperation "please give me one more chance Mrs. Shaw. there was traffic and no place to park and-" principal shaw cuts him off and mocks him "and..and..and" as she imitate his voice. "I heard I️t all boy. How bout you try not to be late next time or get up early and come to school early. maybe you won't be late anymore." she says with attitude. Trey replies with "but-" but principal shaw cuts him off again and says "but nothing go to the office for your tardy slip and isn't this your seventh tardy slip?" she says with curiosity. Trey replies with "yes but can-" and gets cut off again by principal shaw as she says "ah! No..you have two choices..I'm gonna be nice today because today I'm in a good mood and I know your a good kid and I see a lot of potential in you. You can either do your detention on this Saturday or today at 3:20 to 4:30. Trey smacks his teeth and principal shaw says "don't do that boy because I'm being really generous" she says with a attitude. Trey replies with "I'll do I️t today" he says with sadness. "good choice I'll be waiting in my office. I have something for you to do. Don't be late. now go to class" she says pointing at the door. Trey opens the door and before he could get to his seat, his teacher Mrs. Smith says "oh so nice for you to join us Mr.woods. take a seat." As he walk to his sit Trey says "Fuck you" under his breath and the class laughs lowly. Mrs. Smith says "what was that!?" yelling across the room. Trey replies back yelling across the room with "I said Thank you!" as he walks to his assigned seat his friend Jack yells with his arm in the air and says "yuurrr!!! Wassup bro! Where you been at man? I thought I was gonna have to cheat off somebody else on this test and I saw you out there with the mean racist principal lady, I heard she sleeps with the light on because she hate the darkness, that's crazy but what she talk to you about?" he says.
This is jack. he's not smart or reliable but he's funny and a loyal friend. Trey and jack been hanging together since their freshman year.
Trey replies and says "Man I got my seventh tardy and I got detention today" he says sitting down. "Damn she always giving somebody detention" jack says. Trey replies and says "she told me to meet her in her office after school. So I won't be able to go to the party with y'all today" he says shrubbing his shoulders. Jack says "damn...more girls for us then" he says laughing.
Jack says "damn...Justice had some fine girls coming thru too." and just before he says another word the teacher says "be quiet and pay attention!" she says yelling.
Jack replies and says "man you can't teach anyways!" causing the rest of the students to laugh. The teacher yells with anger and says "jack get out!" jack stands up and says "what! I was stating facts Mrs. smith. don't get mad" he says yelling. The teacher continues to yell and says "get out! Or I'm calling the administrator!" jack picks up his bookbag and says "alright" and walks to the door and turn around and says to Trey "Ight bro!" Trey replies and says "Ight bro!" "woods! Pay attention!" The teacher says yelling.

fast forward later on that day to lunch period. Trey was sitting at the table with all his friends like Justice, he's a basketball player and on the basketball team and don't talk about nothing else but basketball and girls. he's cool and He'll fight whoever tries to cross one of his friends and family. Trey met him in 5th grade. Eric is the brains of the group and mostly come up with good ideas to make money and for us to be successful. he play football and the only person in the group with a scholarship. he's somewhat cool. he talk a lot of shit sometimes. Trey met him last year. then there's mike...he don't talk much and really mysterious and he's a senior and he works at the movies. Justice says "so y'all trying to hoop after school?" and Eric says "yeah" but jack says "nah...I thought we was going to the party And plus Trey can't come. he got detention." Eric replies with "just skip it."
Trey replies with "I can't because the principal gonna be waiting on me to come to her office.
Justice says "ight man" and turn his head to a group of girls and says "hey there go Trey little crush" he says pointing. all of Trey friends know he got a crush on this girl name Ella for like 2 years now. when he first seen her. He knew he was in love and especially since she is beautiful, smart and got a nice body and personality. she just makes any man wanna be a better man. Trey love the way she walk, talk and smell. Trey couldn't talk to her because he's afraid she might reject him and thinks she'll never date him. especially since Trey seen the type of guy she dated. He doesn't think he got a chance but her smile make him says other wise. when she smile he just can't get her out of my head for like weeks and she's the captain of the cheerleading team.
Trey says "aye stop pointing!" he says knocking his hand down. Justice says "dude stop being scary and go talk to her. Eric agrees and says "yeah before somebody come and do it" Trey replies with being nervous and says "I can't! she make me nervous and my heart beat fast. I've never felt like this with no other girl." Eric says "she do everything else like other girls around here. What makes her different?" he says with curiosity. Trey replies with "that's the thing she's not like those other girls. she's special and somebody like her deserve somebody that's just like her.....special" he says looking at her. Mike says but you'll never know and life too short to not take any chances. So go talk to her now" Trey replies with "I will soon" "how soon?" mike says.
Trey says "I don't know" he says rubbing his head then put his head down.
