Chapter two

“Are you even listening to me?” She asks her best friend Sohee.

She sighs and turns to see what has gotten her best friends attention.

“So your not listening because your eyeballs are all out looking at those boys.” She snorts her arms crossed as she turns to face Sohee again.

Sohee shyly nods with a smile as she links their hands together. “I'm sorry, come on tell me what do you want to talk about.”

She shakes her head and sighs again. “Someone wants to ask my hand in marriage as what Mino oppa says for business of course but I hope uncle Kai will decline.”

“That's nothing new, we all know what a daughter's role is for their families so come on let's just get into class, don't put too much thought about it.” Sohee tells her.

She nods in agreement.

“I'm so sorry.” Sohee says as she bumps into someone holding her bestfriend's hand for they rushed to head to the library.

She then bows her head as she looks up letting Yuki's hand go.

Yuki beside her then clears her throat staring at the man Sohee accidentally bump into.

“Daniel oppa.” Yuki greets.

Sohee looks up to meet his gaze it was none other than Daniel John a.k.a. DJ.

A smile is placed on his handsome face. “It's all right..., miss?” He tries to ask her name.

Yuki rolls her eyes knowing her brother's friends are one of the playboys in the campus she then places her arms on her bestfriend Sohee. “Her name isn't available for you to know Daniel oppa anyway remind my brother that we need to get home together or else uncle Kai will burn him.”

Daniel chuckles. “Noted, though c'mon I'm sure knowing your friend's name won't hurt?”

Yuki rolls her eyes. “Daniel oppa, please spare this innocent girl besides she's the only friend I have so please stay away from her.”

Daniel now bursted laughing. “Sure, for now...” He adds before he walks past them.

As he was out of sight, Yuki breathes in relief. “Sohee don't be ever deceived on that oppa, okay?, he is evil...., he makes all his past relationships cried.”

Sohee reluctantly nods.

“He is a good guy but he isn't that good once it comes to relationships.” Yuki further adds. “Even my brother isn't too. I guess he and his friends are the same though they care for their family and the one's closest to them.”

The bell rings indicating for lunch time to came and weirdly as Yuki and Sohee was about to leave school to find some place to eat, her brother opted to join them along his friends and so they settled on a restaurant nearby.

Sitting arrangement:
BOBBY, TAEYONG, HANBIN
DJ, SOHEE, YUKI, MINO

“This is weird having lunch with you guys.” Yuki stated.

Sohee nods in agreement.

Mino then speaks. “We need to hang out more to strengthen our family bond, also we need to discuss about your plans if uncle Kai proceeds to make a deal about your arranged marriage with Taeyong hyung's relative.”

Taeyong nods. “Yuki-ssi, we will support whatever decision you make as your apart of this family too.”

“Aw..., thank's everyone.” She cheers.

“Ah., your sister haven't changed one bit Mino-ah.” Hanbin says with a smile finding Yuki as still the same little girl whom who tags along beside Mino.

Bobby smiles as he nods his head agreeing, before he then asks. “So what do you plan if the marriage pursues, Yuki-ssi?”

Sohee keeps her silence beside her bestfriend as also she felt a bit awkward for she does not know anybody else than Yuki on this table as it brings more pressure DJ is sitting beside her who started eating without a care about the discussion.

Daniel smiles at her, as he caught her staring on him. He took some meat on the dish as he places it on her plate using his chopsticks. “Let's just eat, leave them have this discussion as if they are on some kind of a drama, Susu.” He says, calling her by nickname.

Surprisement was all over her face. DJ only smiles wider. “I got my sources don't be surprised.” He winks.

She blushed as she looks down her lap.

Daniel stops from eating and places a hand on her hand under the table, he gives it a light squeeze. “Relax...”

She meets his gaze as his face softens giving her a small smile. “Your different Sohee and I like it.” He said.

Yuki clears her throat making Daniel take his hands off from Sohee. “Can Taeyong oppa and Daniel oppa switch seats my best friend isn't safe beside him.”

The rest of the gang laugh as Taeyong and Daniel switch seats now.

“First thing's first, I don't want to ruin my family and Taeyong oppa's family so we will proceed on this wedding if it happens though whenever they may be obstacles in this marriage I need all of your help, is that okay?” She says.

Mino sighs not really agreeing but he sighs for his sister's consideration towards both family's reputation, risking her own happiness.

“I thought you'd want us to break the arrangement if it happens.” Mino says.

Daniel smiles. “Yuki-ssi is thinking more mature now, eh?”

Yuki proudly nods.

Sohee cried her heart out after class on the roof top as she received a call from her father that her mother had finally left the earth. Her mother was battling cancer for a year now.

She called Yuki to meet her up after her class and so as she heard footsteps she turn to find not expecting the person she'd see.

“You want to talk about it?” He asks as she approached her.

She shakes her head no.

The man stood beside her. “I came here too, whenever I got problems...” He said turning to look at her side profile.

She turns to face him, with tears rolling down her eyes. “I'll get going.” She tells him.

She was about to leave him yet he caught her wrist.

“What's your name?” He asked.

She wipes her tears from her face using her bare hands yet still it streams down. “Sohee.” She tells him as she tried to muster a smile.

“I'm Jimin..., Park, Jimin.” He pauses as he let her hand go. “Sohee-ssi, whatever your going through... I'm sure you'll move on past it, fighting.” He beams a smile to her, finding something to cheer her up as he felt responsible to do so.

She nods and tries to give him a smile even though tears are still falling down.

Yuki walks in the scene. “Sohee!” She exclaimed with a worry voice and so the two girls embraces one another.

Jimin witnessed the scene in front of him as he heard Yuki say. “Sohee-ssi..., I'm sure your mother is happy up there in heaven to watch over you..., so let's get you to your home, huh?, best friend...., please stop crying.” She convinces, adding. “Mino oppa and I will drive you back home, okay?”

Sohee nods weakly before pulling away from the embrace.
