Zac's POV
I flopped on my bed and tried to wipe the smile off my face, but ever since I dropped I couldn't get it off my face. I lay there in my boxers and stood up, still on the bed. I jumped off the bed with my fist pumped in the air. "Wooh!" I yelled and rolled on the floor and back standing.
Our current situation wasn't clear to me. We'd figure it out in the morning. A bunch of people wanted to hang out at the baseball field and park. She was going with who I think are still her three best friends, Cally, Becka, and Dassen. I knew Dassen better than the others. I didn't have to get dressed up, but I was still excited about tomorrow. I lay back on the bed and fell asleep.
The next morning I was at the field in no time at all. I strut over to the group of nine and saw Sarah laughing with her friends and the other girl and the four guys. Her hair was down and she was wearing a black short flowy skirt and a white tank top. Her simple outfit with her glittery black flipflops was beautiful all the same. I jogged over to her and pulled her in my arms, swirling her around. She giggled and squirmed in my grasp. We released and I put an arm around her waist while we all caught up.
Sarah's POV
I was next to Zac when I looked over to a guy in a black tee and faded jeans. I took in a breath and watched as he stared right back at me.
"Excuse me." I said to the group and then walked over to him. He was leaning against the fence. He stood in front of me and didn't speak.
"Hi Jeremy." I wasn't angry or sad, but I didn't really want to see him.
"Hi Sarah." He said, he still had his hands in his pockets while leaning against the fence. His stare was hard and sort of cold. I crossed my arms.
"What are you doing here?" Being just as cold. He moved forward and put his hand on my hip. As much as I liked it I pulled it off.
"I was around. And Amanda told me you'd be here." He starred into my eyes and they were strong. I liked them, but I thought of Zac.
"Well, I should remember to erase her number. And don't touch me, you don't have the right." I said, all cold. I wasn't going to play games with a guy who doesn't try to do anything after that day and now he just shows up.
"I thought we had a date. Which means were dating." He said moving forward making me back up and we kept going like that 'til we were practically in the middle of the freshly cut grassy field. His head tilted to the side as if he were pondering the thought or studying me.
He put him hand on my arm and slid it down, which sent chills through me. He took a step closer and put a hand firmly on my back, keeping me from backing away. I struggled, but his grip kept me where I was. His head moved to my neck.
"Your friends seem to be enjoying the view." He whispered into my neck. I looked to see them starring in serious and curious expressions. Zac was angry, but didn't move to come closer. His lips touched my neck and I snapped.
I pulled his head back by his hair not gently, but hair ripping and punched him in the face. He was bent over holding his right cheek when I walked away. I had taken a few steps when he grabbed my elbow and I turned to him. He grabbed my shoulders and I saw the scratch on his cheek.
"See's I've left my mark." I said bitterly before kneeing him in his stomach. I turned to jog back, but he grabbed me by my waist and pulled me to the ground. I lay on my back and he was on top of me. His hands on my waist again.
"In more ways than one." he said as he stroked my cheek.
"Get off Jeremy." I said firmly.
"I'm not ending this without a fight. I want you Sarah. Give me a chance." He almost pleaded.
