Not So Bad

Ring Ring Ring

The bell rang for lunch, piercing your ears. To be quite honest, you didn't really want this lesson to end, and that is something you never thought would happen. Josh is really really nice. He has just your sense of humor and he is really understanding. Tyler and him get along really well, so they where talking together throughout the lesson about all sorts. When you where rather quiet, which you didn't mind, he asked you about your interests and how you where, to get you in the conversation. He didn't force you, he made you feel comfortable to be yourself and talk without worrying about what he thought. It was super fun. Turns out he's a drummer which you found super cool.

You walked out the classroom together only to find Beebo waiting for you at the door. It made you so happy, you where just really happy. "Hey my British frens! Oh, hi Josh" He said, he seemed to already know Josh. Things just seem to be getting better. "You know my British buds too?"

"Yeah, you know them?" said Josh with an adorable chuckle. "Yeah i'm one of prefects remember? I show the new kids 'round" Brendon said as you made your way down the hall. "Oh yeah, you did it to miss a day of school that one time - now I remember" You all laughed "No!.. well okay that is true but also to contribute to the school system"

"Sure dude" you said, sarcasm lining your words. He just glared at you from the side jokingly. You all laughed together as you made your way through the cafeteria doors. You spotted Jenna waving her hand to catch you eye from across the room. She was sitting next to a girl with red hair. You waved back, and she beckoned you over. "Do you guys wanna go sit with Jenna?" you asked them nodding your head towards her. "Yeah sure" They all agreed. The boys followed you over to the table where you sat down next to Jen. Brendon sat opposite the red hair girl, who you now knew as Tatum, followed by Ty who sat opposite Jenna and then Josh. Great, he sat right in front of you. You needed to make sure you didn't stare, his brown eyes where just so pretty.

"So how is your first day going?" Tatum started up the conversation. Although she didn't have warmth like your other new friends, you decided to try and be nice to her; she was Jenna's friend after all. "A lot better than I thought" You said honestly. You have made so many nice friends and to be honest you couldn't be happier about it. You thought you would be really lonely on this first day. "Good!" she said, not really that genuinely, she seemed pretty cold and fake for some reason. Maybe your standards have been raised for new people after meeting Brendon and Josh and Jenna. "Yeah, you guys are so nice for making friends with us" Tyler said, reading your mind yet again. "It is my duty!" said Jenna grinning. You noticed Beebo was being more quiet then he usually is. "Wassup Beebo?" you said looking over at him, he looked quite uncomfortable. "Yeah dude, your being pretty quiet for yourself" Josh added with another one of his cute little chuckles. Brendon just shrugged and said "Nothing really" you and Josh exchanged looks of worry. "Well, who wants some of my Dorito's?" said Tyler, trying to make Brendon brighten up.

He reached over and grabbed some quickly, instantly looking a bit happier. You all laughed, Tatum especially "Your such a goof Beebo!" she said rather over the top. Brendon gave her a funny look and said sassilly "Only Y/N, Ty, Josh and Jen can call me that".  She muttered "Fine" and sent a burning glare at you. Oh no, what had you done? Had you done something wrong? You didn't like making people upset. You felt a panic rise up inside you.

Your breath hitched and your heart beat sped up. You looked over at Ty and he said quickly in his own panic "Some one grab her hand! She is having a panic attack!". Everyone left their seats to comfort you, not including Tatum, who didn't seem to understand what was happening. Tyler and Brendon held your hands, and Jenna went to get you water. Josh sat next to you and wrapped his hoodie round your shaking shoulders before you felt yourself slip away.

You gained consciousness and opened you eyes to see a worried looking Brendon kneeling in front of you. "She's okay!" he exclaimed. Tyler came into view, a look of relief on his face. You just chuckled. You noticed a strong arm around your shoulders only to find it was Josh, when you turned to see him grinning, a light blush adorning his cheeks. "Hi" he said "hi" you said back with a giggle. "AW" said Jenna from your other side. "Why are you two so cute what the hell?!" Brendon said, making your cheeks even more red than before, if that's possible.  Before it could get more awkward, the bell rang and you all split off to your different classes.

The rest of the day was the same as the first few lessons, and you where now on your way home in the car. "So how was you first day?" Your mum said from the passenger seat in the front. "We made loads of friends actually!" Tyler nodded in agreement. "Great! That's amazing to hear! I was worried about you" You didn't really want to tell her about your panic attack so you kept quiet, you didn't want to worry her.

When you got home you just collapsed on your bed, falling asleep instantly. Your fist day wasn't as bad as you thought it would be!
