I've got to admit, the concert was amazing. Jake was a great performer, and kept the audience engaged throughout the whole thing.

"That was amazing!" Hailey yelled as we were walking back to our cabin.

"It was," I agreed.

"And to think," she continued. "That those guys are going to be here for 5 weeks. With US!!"

I laughed at her enthusiasm.

"There's nothing funny about this Cami," she said. "This is serious business."

"I know. Here's an idea. Invite them to have dinner with us tomorrow."

"That's a great idea!" Hailey said. "I'll invite them tomorrow!"

"Uh, Hailey?" I said. "I was joking."

"Well, I'm not. Good night, Cameron!" She sang. Then she ran into the cabin.

I joined her and put in some pajamas. It was really cold tonight, so I put on light blue sweats and a grey sweater. I sat in my bed until I was sure that Hailey was asleep. Then, I put my brown, furry boots on and snuck outside. I walked to the cafeteria, because it was open all night. I got a hot chocolate and walked to the fire pit where the concert was. The stage crew had long finished cleaning up, so it was just me and the crackling fire.

I slowly sipped my hot chocolate. I was tired, but something told me I had to stay here. A couple minutes later, I wished I'd just gone to bed.

"Hey there," a male voice said. I looked to my right and saw Jake Griffin taking a seat next to me.

I stared in disbelief.

"It's nice to meet you too," he said sarcastically. "Care to share your name?"

"Why do you want to know?" I asked.

"Why wouldn't I?"

Two can play this game, I thought to myself. "Cameron." I replied honestly. "Cameron Sparks."

He nodded. "Now, Cameron Sparks, what are you doing out here?"

I shrugged. "Probably the same thing as you."

"Ahh," he smiled. "So you walked in on your friend doing it too?"

"What?" I yelled. "No!"

He laughed. "You, Cameron Sparks, are so gullible."

"Why are you calling me Cameron Sparks?" I asked. I just go by Cameron."

"But your name is Cameron Sparks," he whined.

"Okay, Jake Griffin."

"You see," Jake started. "A name can tell you a lot about someone. Their background, history, or anything."

"So what does my name tell you?" I asked him.

"Cameron Sparks. There's something that you'd love to do, but won't let yourself do. You're afraid of losing something. And you have outbursts of craziness."

"Wow," was all I said.

His eyes widened. "You mean I got it right?"

I nodded.

"Huh, I've never gotten everything right before. Want to tell me what your 'something's' are?"

I shook my head. "That's private information."

"Not for long," he muttered. I don't think I was supposed to hear that, so I kept quiet.

"Well, I should get to bed." I said, breaking the silence. "You know, big day tomorrow."

"What's tomorrow?" He asked, frowning.

"Just another day," I said.

He have me a mischievous smile. "With me, no day is an ordinary day."

"How do you know I'll be spending it with you?"

"'Cause I'm Jake Griffin. Who wouldn't want to spend the day with me?"

"Me," I replied.

"I can change that, though," he replied. Jake stood and held a hand out to me. "C' mon. Let's get you to bed."

We walked me to my cabin, without another word. As we stood awkwardly outside the door, I whispered, "Thank you."

He smiled. "Good night, Cameron Sparks."

"Good night, Jake Griffin."
