Caitlyns pov

Waking up in the morning from your teenage sons hitting you with pillows was not how I though my day was going to start. They were both bouncing up an down on my bed taking turn hitting me. I swear they act like they were still five. I quickly sat up grabbing there ankels an pulled making them fall off the bed with a loud thump an groaning after they hit the floor.

I slowly got out off my bed looking at the both of smiling evilly. "Good morning babies how was your trip? Is the floor that comfortable?" I asked laughing as the both glare at me.

"Momma why did you have to knock us on our asses we were just messing around." said Lucian the oldest of the two he pushed his bottom lip out pouting. Alexander just sat there with his hands behind his back smiling at me. I just laughed at them both an looked at the clock realizing it was ten after seven.

"What are you two doing up so early?" I asked.

"Well when we got home last night from being with dad you were already in bed. So we decided to make you some breakfast an then come wake you up. We just got a little excited cause its been two months since we saw you. Im sorry momma." Alexander mumbled looking away from me. I looked at both of them an smiled so big my face started to hurt. I couldn't believe my babies were finally back.

"Well lets go eat then baby. I've missed you guys so freaking much I am so glad you guys are home." I held my hands out to the both of them they both grab a hand an we headed to the kitchen where I saw the kitchen in complete disaster.

My mouth dropped open there was flour an egg shells everywhere even on the ceiling which I wasn't going to ask how the hell it got there because I can kind of guess. On the table laid pancake eggs bacon an fresh coffee. These boys sure know how to make a mess but it was very heart warming to see that the had made breakfast.

I turned to look at the boys an I just smiled an asked "Alex I thought we agreed not to let your brother in the kitchen when he isn't being supervised."

Lucian's jaw dropped an yelled " MOMMA! I didn't do this by myself I swear Alex started it I just helped crack the eggs." Alex snorted at his brothers outburst an then died laughing leaning over with his hands on his knees.

I just walked toward the table to grab the coffee humming to him. I know it was both of them they probably started arguing over something silly an then throwing things at each other. This wasn't the first time they had made a mess in the kitchen so I wasn't worried they always clean up after themselves.

"Alright boys come sit an eat. Thank you both for the breakfast this morning." As soon as I was done talking both of them charged to the table. They were stacking their plates with the food as I sat there watching them smiling to my self.

Both of my boy had dark curly hair an bright blue eyes. Standing at 6'9 an 6'7 towering over me. I couldn't believe they were eighteen already an in college. It seems like just yesterday I was bringing them home from the hospital. I had them at a very young age but I would do it all again these two are my everything.

"So how was the trip with your dad an Alison?" I asked noticing that they looked at each other before answering. They both mumbled that it was fine but didn't seem to want to add anything else. I just nodded my head I didn't want to force them to talk to me about anything. So I just sat there an ate with them an enjoyed the silence.

After we were done eating I asked the boys to clean up the mess that they had made while I showered an got ready for the day.

We had moved to a small city in Illinois shortly before the boys finished Highschool. They were upset at first but understood why we were leaving. We use to live in new York but after me an their father split up I needed a fresh start. It was easy for me to move because I am an author. I wasn't stuck trying to find another office to transfer to or anything my agent already lived here so it just made sense.

Both of the kids didn't want to leave their friends they have had since Kindergarden. I had told them they didn't have to come with me, that they could've stayed with their father if they wanted but they shot that suggestion down pretty fast. Their father cheated on me with Alison an the boys were the ones to catch him in the acted. I understand why the wouldn't want to stay but no matter what happened between me an their dad their feelings come before mine.

When I walked back down the stairs the boys were dressed as well an the kitchen was spotless again. I turned an looked at them bickering over who was sitting shotgun. I laughed as they both came running to me telling to tell the other who was sitting next to me in the front. I just walked away from them an grabbed my bag with the keys walking out the door. Shaking my head as they both come running out tripping on each other to get to the car first.

I shut an locked the door to the house slowly making my way to the car listening to them argue on who was better looking to decide who should sit up front. I looked up when I heard a car horn noticing the boys friend Nicky was getting out of a grey BMW running toward us smiling. I was so focused on him I didn't realize the other male stepping out as well.

When Nicky finally made it to us he was out of breath. Alex looked at him an smiled while Lucian crossed his arms over his chest. " Hey momma Drake how are you? You look amazing as usual." Nicky said breathing hard smiling. Before I could respond Nicky got a smack on the back of his head. " Behave you brat." A deep voice growled an when I looked to see who it was I said " It's fine I am used to him talkin like that it don't bother me I know he is joking."

Darked green eyes just stared at me while I smiled brightly bringing Nicky into a hug giving him a kiss on the cheek. "Anyways what are you doing here dude an who is the guy with you?" Lucian asked looking between me an the guys who was just staring at me.

" Oh yeah I heard you guys got back last night so wanted to see you guys. An the jackass over there is my older brother Zayden." Nicky said still wrapped up in my arms. This little boy was like an extra child to me I loved him just like I do my own poor things mom died when he was two.

I looked up at Zayden an put my hand out. " Nice to meet you sweetheart." I said smiling.

Zayden looked at my hand for a second before shaking it an turning around to go back to his car. Wow what a great personality I thought as I rolled my eyes.

When I had arrived home I was exhausted.  All three of the boys went with me to the store an let me tell you they are banned from coming with again. They carried in the stuff we got an put it all away as I ordered pizza for them. Nicky had asked if he could spend the night with them. They were planning on watching movies an doing other shit that teenage boys do. I was just planning on writing tonight anyway so they don't have to worry about bother me.

I was sitting in the living room when the got done putting everything away. Alex came over an layed out on the couch on put his head on my lap as we watched tv the other to sat in front of us on the floor.

I didn't know what we were watching but I knew it had something to do with super heros. When the boys pizza got here I told them I was coming upstairs to work an if they needed me to come get me. They all mumbled a response an continued to stare at the tv as I made my way upstairs.
