The best thing

     "Nakakailang rounds na kayo?" Bungad niya sa akin at narinig ko ang malalakas na tawanan ng mga kaibigan ko.  Ang iingay nila.  Palibhasa mga lasing na.

     "Shut up, Gilly." Saway ko.

     "Wow.  Sungit effect si ate.  Bakit?  Naiistorbo kayo?" At malalakas ulit na tawanan.

     "Sige na!  I'll call you tomorrow," sabi ko at pinatayan ko siya ng telepono.  "Sorry about that.  My friends.  They are just happy for me because they know I am happy." Baling ko kay Chris.

     "So boto sila sa akin?" Natatawang sabi ni Chris.

     "I guess," sagot ko.  At muli kong kinuha ang telepono kasi sunod - sunod ang notifications mula sa fb messenger ko.  Natawa ako kasi puro picture ng lalaki ang nandoon.  'Yung nakita namin kanina sa news channel. 

     Kung may Chris ka, may Christopher Koche naman ako.  Bilyonaryo pa. Hahahaha ✌️✌️✌️

     Natawa ako sa message ni Gilly.

     "I think my friend is obsessed with this Christopher Koche," natatawang sabi ko at binuksan ko ang fb accont ko.  Ang dami ngang notification about that guy.  Sobrang usapan sa social media ang paghahanap sa kanya.

      "Christopher Koche?" Nakita kong nawala ang ngiti sa labi ni Chris.

     Kinuha ko ang telepono ko at ipinakita ko ang picture sa kanya.  "You're not watching news?  Some rich handsome guy that is storming social media now.  His father is looking for him and his girlfriend," sagot  ko sa kanya. 

     Hindi sumagot si Chris.  Parang nag - iba ang mood niya. 

     "Are you okay?  Sorry if istorbo mga friends ko."

     Nakita ko ang pilit na ngiti ni Chris.  "It's okay." Sagot niya at sumandal sa upuan niya.

     "I read about that news.  May reward pa nga 'di ba?  Whoever can find that sole heir of Koche Industries." Narinig kong sabi niya.

     "Yeah.  I think one hundred thousand dollars.  That's a big amount." Sagot ko.

     Nakita kong napatawa si Chris pero halatang pilit lang 'yun.

     "May naisip lang akong senaryo.  What you meet that billionaire.  What's his name again?" Tanong pa niya sa akin. 

     "Christopher Koche.  Sole heir for Koche Industries." Natatawang sagot ko.

      Tumawa siya.  "Fine.  Fine.  Alright.  What if you met that billionare Christopher Koche and sole heir for Koche Industries.  But you don't know that he is Christopher Koche," sabi niya.

     "Ano?  Ang gulo mo?  I can't understand."

     "Wala lang kasi naisip ko lang kung ganoon ang senaryo.  You met a simple guy, you like the guy and lets say you love him already but later found out that, that simple guy is really the billionaire Christopher Koche.  And there is a standing reward of one hundred thousand dollars just to turn him in to his family.  Are you going to take the money and turn him in?"

     "Pwede kang writer.  Grabe imagination mo," natatawang sabi ko sa kanya.

     Tumawa din siya.  "Just answer it.  Let me know your opinion."

     "No.  I won't take the money.  Because if I get the money, that will only mean one thing.  I'll never see him again." Seryosong sagot ko.

     "Sayang ang one hundred thousand dollars."

     "I'd rather have a penny in my pocket and be with the man that I love than having a billion but he is not with me."

     Chris smiled and kissed me passionately on my lips.

     "But if they are going to offer one million dollars, I might change my mind and turn him in." Natatawang biro ko.

      "You're a bad girl if you do that," tumatawang sabi niya at ini - start na niya ang kotse.

     "Where are we going?"

     "Hihigop ng sabaw," sabi niya habang nagmamaneho.  "O gusto mo sabaw mo na lang higupin ko?" Malisyosong sabi ni Chris.

     Malakas ko siyang hinampas sa braso.

     "Ang bastos mo," tumatawang sabi ko.  "But I think I like that more," malanding sagot ko sa kanya.

     "As you wish Mrs. Kutcher," at lalo niyang binilisan ang pagpapaandar ng sasakyan.  Hindi ko alam kung uuwi na ba kami o ano.  Bahala na.  Kahit saan ako dalhin ni Chris sasama ako.
