Ed was in a cycling accident last month (Oct. 2017) and broke a rib, his wrist and his elbow.
He said to have been going down a steep hill when he went over the handle bars of the bike and brushed his injuries off thinking it was minor until the next day. He went to the hospital where they told Ed he couldn't put anymore stress on the wrist and to let it heal completely before doing another show as he would cause permanent damage to his wrist.
His injuries resulted in canceled shows during the Asia leg of the Divide tour, a first for Ed
