The AUs of Ladybug and Chat Noir

so close, almost discovered, but denied.

⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀With tears streaming down his cheeks, Chat Noir sprints towards his house, carrying Ladybug in his arms. The scene repeatedly played itself inside the poor boy's mind, causing his heart to ache and more tears to flow down his puffy face.

 ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀"I'm so sorry m'lady..." Chat Noir said quietly. "I-I have to do this."

⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀"Lucky Charm!" She cried before receiving her lucky charm.

⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀He tightly grasped his staff and caught her by complete surprise with a strong hit right on the side of her head, causing her to fly across the room. She skid across the floor on her right shoulder, tearing up her arm.

 ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀Chat Noir rushed over to her and fell to his knees beside her, crying silently. He quickly scooped her up in his arms and looked for a way to escape the abandoned building...

⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀After running for what seemed like forever, Chat Noir finally reached his home and jumped through the open window that led to his bedroom. He placed her on the sofa facing the windows, and ran over to his bed, sobbing hysterically. He transformed back, still lying on his bed. Plagg remained silent as he watched his friend sob uncontrollably. A look of sympathy formed on Plagg's face, and he felt as if there was nothing he could do to help Adrien in this moment.

⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀"God... I'll never be able to forgive myself! This is unforgivable! She's gonna hate me!" He cried and gasped for air in between sobs. "And I-" he gasped again, "-will... too..."

⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀Suddenly, Adrien heard it.

⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀The sound of transformation.

⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀Adrien slowly sat up in his bed, tear stains shining brightly on his puffy red cheeks. He then began to slowly make his way off of his bed and over to the sofa, but then he stopped before he could actually see her.

⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀"No," he said. "She wouldn't want me to find out." He turned his back to the couch and wiped his tears from underneath his eyes.

⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀Adrien looked at Plagg with a 'what now?' kind of expression on his face. Plagg simply shrugged.

⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀"Go see her. But don't tell me who it is..." he sighed. "...at least not yet."

⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀"Are you sure?" Plagg asked quietly.

⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀"No- but do it anyway."

⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀Plagg sighed and slowly approached the mystery girl lying on the sofa behind Adrien's back. Adrien stood there in silence, he heard a small gasp.

⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀"Plagg?"

⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀No response.

⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀"Plagg?" Adrien asked again.

⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀And still, no response.

⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀Adrien was starting to become frustrated. He was dying to know who that girl was behind the mask. He then turned, just enough that he could see the black cat kwami that was still floating in the air by the blue haired girl.

⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀"Are you sure you don't want to know who it is?" Plagg asked.

⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀"Yes-No- I mean..." Adrien sighed, "I don't know..."

⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀"I think you should."

⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀"She wouldn't want that." Adrien then sighed sadly, and continued, "...considering I kind of knocked her out..."
