After dinner Anna and I were sent to her room, in hopes we will bond. We sat there on our phones and tried to maintain bland conversation.

"Do you miss California?"

"Yeah. Do you like Montana?"

"Yeah."

"Yeah." It got to the point where we were texting people. I started texting Jason, I haven't texted him in a while.

I looked up and put my phone down, I heard a familiar melody coming from Anna's phone. I started humming to it. She looked up.

"You know Kung Fu Fighting?" she asked.

"It's one of my favorite songs!" I responded.

"It's one of mine too!" Anna got up and connected her phone to a speaker.

"Do you have two hair brushes?" I asked. She nodded, she kept one for herself and handed the other one to me.

"Ready?" she asked. I nodded.

"Whoa, whoa! Whoa, whoa! Whoa, whoa! Whoa, whoa! Whoa, whoa! Whoa, whoa!" we both sang.

"Everybody was kung-fu fighting! Those kicks were fast as lightning! In fact it was a little bit frightening! But they fought with expert timing!" we sang loudly, we were both dancing on the bed.
