When We Find Each Other

Prolog (must read)

Long ago, they lived two villages of Ironhaven and Wallowdale . Although they lived right next to each other their was no partnership or alliance between these two. In fact they despised  each other. Just to make sure that they couldn't see each other a wall was put in to place. No one really knew for sure why that hated each other. People just thought they just saw one other as a waste of space. Until one cold and brisk night young Katelyn wanted to know the truth about these bitter hatred. All she knew form her father was that they were horrible people and couldn't be trusted. Katelyn had to know for herself. As she approached the wall she felt a chill run up her spine. She didn't know this at the time but this moment would change her way of life. As she stared at the pie ruble before her she noticed a small hole at the bottom of the wall. She decided this was her chance. She quickly squeezed her body through the tiny crevice. As she walked in she started to get more scared every time she took a step. She stopped and remembered what her mother used to tell her. "Life can be scary sometime Katelyn, you must find a way to get through these time, whenever I feel alone I sing our song. " Just as Katelyn finished recalling the memory she closed her eyes and began to sing quietly to herself.

"That was beautiful." Someone was hiding in the bushes "whose there" Katelyn said with a start. "If you don't come out I'll kill you." Suddenly a small boy appeared from out of the bushes. "Hi, I'm Travis" the boy said. "It's Nice to make you acquaintance. I am Katelyn Daughter of the leader of Ironhaven if you wish to kill me then I suggest you take it out with him." Katelyn replied with confidence. "Well, I'm just a towns folk from Wallowdale and I just heard you singing you have a very beautiful voice you know." Travis replied. Katelyn blushed, "What are you doing so far in the forest." Katelyn asked. "I come here often just to think I don;t appreciate the way my town thinks of your village and I choose not to be a part of them." Travis responded. Katelyn stopped, "so your not here to kill me." "of corse not" Travis said. "Katelyn where are you" Katelyn heard her fathers voice out in the distance. "I have to go.... you would't mind if I meet you here tomorrow do you." Katelyn asked "I'll be waiting" Travis said happily. As they kept meeting their friendship became stronger and stronger. 1 year Katelyn's parents had died in an tragic fire. To keep Katelyn safe they decided to have her live with her aunt on a far away town where she would never see Travis every again. "I'm sorry Travis." Katelyn said with tears in her eyes, "I have to leave." "I understand" Travis said. "I want to give you something to remember me by." Travis said. He slipped a black ring around her finger. "It was my mothers, I want you to have it. You have giving me something to remember me for (aka its the song) I want you to remember me."
