Nico looked up from where he sat when he heard an old song from his childhood.

But we survived...

More terrible monsters than sleep...

A light was casted in front of Nico, and the longer he stared, the more his eyes could make out two silhouettes.

Nico's eyes widen and he rubbed his eyes to make sure he wasn't dreaming.

Stumbling lost...

Nico stood up and walked towards the light, for standing underneath it, was his mother, Maria di Angelo, and his sister, Bianca di Angelo.

Nico broke out into a run and clung onto his family. Maria and Bianca hugged him back with just the same amount of love and passion before pulling away.

Nico smiled as tears fell from his eyes. But, his smile disappeared once he saw the saddened looks on his family's faces. "Madre? Sorella?" He whispered.

Nico looked down and thought about the shame he has put his family through by closing himself off.

But he's just one...

And maybe someday...

Maria made him look up, and she smiled before moving out the way to show Nico the one thing he loves in this world, his boyfriend, Will Solace.

Eri il mio soldatino (You were my little soldier)

Bianca gave Nico a little push and he began to jog towards Will.

Ora un principe oscuro (Now a dark prince)

Nico then broke out into a full sprint towards him.

Ma anche per te, c'è una luce (But even for you, there is a light)

Will notices Nico running towards him and held open his arms for his lover. Nico crashed into Will, making them fall over. They looked at each other with love in their eyes before locking lips in a passionate kiss.

Maria and Bianca smiled. Their bodies began to scatter like little rose petals over their beloved son and brother.

"Ti amiamo, il nostro piccolo soldato."

(A/N: The song is called Soldatino by Paola Bennet. I found this while looking for lullabies to help me sleep, and the tears couldn't stop falling from my eyes. This song is perfect for Nico in so many ways. I just had to create something from it. And the last sentence translates to, "We love you, out little soilder," more or less. I used Google Translate, so if this is wrong, let me know, and I will fix it right away.)
