Chapter 4- The BadBoys brother is my new bestfriend (Part-one)

Instead of getting the taxi we walked. I got us the tickets whilst Georgia brought us food. We were only 15 minutes late. We both knew that the advertisements and trailers for other movies would’ve been showing anyway so it was all chilled.

When we walked into the cinema I couldn’t see much but all I saw was the whole row at the back was available. I walked up the stairs as Georgia trailed behind me…

Georgia’s P.O.V

We took our seats at the back of the cinema, right in the middle. We had great timing because the movie had just started. It all started with Spider-Man in a little bit of action and then the scene changes to the graduation ceremony.

Andrew Garfield and Emma Stone is such a cute couple. Or shall we say Peter and Gwen is such a cute couple. You know what I hate most about the cinemas?

Well for starters you can’t see much and when you are eating your food drops everywhere. Not complaining because that happens to me on a regular day but I didn’t want to show Nathan that I was a dog.

Another 2 hours and the movie was coming to an ending. A scene came when Gwen fell to the ground from a very tall height. Peter got his spider-web and caught her just before she almost fell to the ground. She had a really bad whip-lash.

The scene then continued to Peter holding Gwen in her arms and she had passed out. I sat there saying, “She can’t die.” But then blood came down her nose and for sure she had died.

I buried my head into someone shoulder and then I realized it was Nathan’s. He patted my shoulder and chuckled at me.

He was obviously laughing at the fact that I was crying over someone dying. He didn’t understand, even though it was a movie, Peter had lost something very close to him. He lost his one and only true love on the same day he told her that he loved him.

I hit his shoulder hard before returning to my normal position. There was a scene where autumn, spring and summer had gone by and Peter was stood by Gwen’s grave. This showed Peter had visited Gwen almost every day.

Peter had given up being Spider-Man for 5 months when he realized that he was letting the past ruin his life. He decided to go back to being Spider-Man and save the world.

Then the movie ended and the credits started rolling on the screen. A tear rolled down my cheek as Nathan wiped it away with his thumb.

“Why did she die? Why was it such a sad ending?” I said as Nathan stood up and I followed him.

“I don’t know. Ladies first.” He sighed. I thought he wanted to go on a date with me? Why is he acting like a jerk? Why was he trying to make small talk? We walked home silently and I couldn’t take it. I couldn’t keep quite ask anyone and you know on the 11/11. The 1 minute silent in school? Yeah I can never take those well.

“Bye.” Nathan said as he snapped me out of my thoughts. I didn’t even realise that we were here.

“Urm, bye.” I said awkwardly as I started to walk away. If he asked me on a date then why didn’t he say ‘when is the next time I can see you?’ or ‘I had really fun today’ But no.

To be honest I was really depressed over the whole ‘Gwen is Dead’ situation. I know it is stupid but when you really love Spider-Man you have an excuse.

Nathan’s P.O.V.

I have understood that the way I was acting to Georgia wasn’t going to get me anywhere. If I want her to fall for me then I have to act all sweet as a ‘typical boyfriend’ was. But in order to do that there was only one man… Blake
