This is a rather broad question, so I'll tackle it one dimension at a time.
1) Genre
I enjoy writing adventure, mystery, horror, fantasy, and comedy. I mainly do fantasy and adventure, the other genres I only dabble in every now and then.
2) Characters
My character of choice is rarely ever human. I like to write characters that are entirely animal or anthromorphs, mainly because we're all human - it's much more fun to experience things through a different species' psyche. Though I have written humans before.
3) Pacing
I'm kind of awkward when it comes to pacing. It feels odd to skip over huge pieces of a character's life, and a lot of my stories are set over many years. I'm working on it, but usually my pacing consists of a few days in detail, skip a week or month, repeat. I'm trying a new system of just letting time pass without mention, perhaps using seasons instead of numbers will help me?
4) Style
I'm still developing my writing style, so expect inconsistency to be a common theme.
5) Reason
Finally, the reason I write. I write because I enjoy it. I've seen too many people hate writers for not updating a story, everybody has dry spells, and everybody gets a little down in the dumps. It's not anybody's job to write for you, if they don't feel like writing then you aren't entitled to having them suck it up and do it anyways.
I try to write many chapters, long before they need to be uploaded. So most of the time this doesn't happen with me, but if it ever does I'd appreciate impatient readers to cut me some slack. As of June 2017, I've been professionally diagnosed with MDD and I do lose sight of things on occasion. I shall try to not let it happen.
The picture is Paul the hornet. While at some go kart races, I cracked open a Dr. Pepper knockoff and Paul landed on it, scaring the life out of me as I am allergic. Paul and me made peace and he repelled all the little kids for me.
