The suit still never fit well, even though I bought it years ago. My face was drained and my eyes were red. Tired and depressed mixed into one. I still haven't stopped crying to this day.

August 30th, Takashi Shirogane passed away in my arms.

He never wanted anyone to know he was ill but I had always known. He seeked treatment once after being diagnosed but he never went back due to the possibility of the others finding out. He stayed strong despite his declining health and all I could do was watch him suffer.

There was a knock on the door.

I quickly gathered myself and parted my lips slightly. "Come in."

The knob on the door turned, revealing a puffy eyed Pidge. She was wearing a suit as well despite being a girl.

"How are you holding up?" She asked closing the door behind her.

"Same as you, not too good. Any luck with Hunk?"

"Nope, he still refuses to come out of his room. I told him everyone else was going but he's really taking it hard."

I nodded and struggled to adjust my tie. Shiro always did this for me. I never learned how to do this. At the memory of Shiro helping me with my clothing, my eyes filled with tears as my fingers fidgitted with the tie. Pidge rushed over to me and grabbed my hands, squeezing them tight.

"Please... let me help you," she mumbled softly.

I nodded and wiped my eyes, allowing her to help me fix the tie. Once she was finished, she took my hands in hers again.

"I miss him too. Let's both try to be strong for the rest of them, okay?"

"Katie, I'm sorry..."

Pidge smiled and wrapped her arms around my back. "You don't have to apologize. Or call me Katie...okay?"

I nodded again, sniffling and wiping my nose on my sleeve. I didn't care about the suit one bit.

When we left my room, we went to the hallway where Hunk's room was and ran into Lance. When he spotted us, his eyes lit up.

"Guys, there you are...! I've been trying to talk to Hunk but it doesn't look like he's coming out of there!"

Both Pidge and I stared at Lance as he sported a large smile.

"Are you okay Lance?" Pidge asked.

"What? Never better! We're all still here right? Wouldn't Shiro want us to be happy and keep things up and running?"

I knew what Lance was doing. I could see right through him. He couldn't hide the fact that his eyes were red and his cheeks were flushed.

"C'mon Hunk, you can't miss Shiro's funeral. He would want you to be there for him! Right guys?"

I looked at Pidge who looked at me at the same time.

"Uh right! Shiro would be sad that his favorite hugger didn't see him off!"

"See?" Lance said, turning back to the door. "Shiro needs you! Now come on out, please?"

There was a moment of silence until finally the door not clicked. Hunk finally opened the door, his face covered in dry snot and tears.

"C'mere big guy!" Lance said with his arms wide open.

Hunk's eyes flooded with tears as he threw himself at Lance to squeeze him tight.

"There there, you're alright buddy!" Lance struggled to say under Hunk's death grip. "Shiro needs you at a time like this! We all do! Right guys?!"
