A new dark winter will parade around the skies
Freezing you immobile
Grey clouds tinged with with white will ride
Leaves will die leaving trees skeletal and bare
We will all breathe out smokeA translucent moon will watch
But at night when it's darkest it will shine
The frosty ground will shatter and crunch beneath our feetThe clouds will war with some forgotten enemy
And appear bird like in a frozen battleCars will carry snow and frost
They will migrate, like birds to a warmer climateNights will darken
Days will turn into nights
For this is Dead Midwinter
