Baby Steps {Mpreg}

Step Four:

"Kihyun?" Changkyun's voice boomed over the phone

"Yes?" Kihyun responded

"Please talk to me." Changkyun said 

"About what?" Kihyun asked

"Everything. We're gonna have a baby, have you eaten today? How far along are you?" Changkyun asked

"Why you do you care?" Kihyun responded

"Because I.... I just do ok." Changkyun said 

"Whatever. I'm hanging up now." Kihyun replied

Kihyun hung up the phone before Changkyun could get another word in. He put his phone in his pocket. 

"I need to go home." Kihyun said

"Wait Kihyun you can't just leave like that what about Changkyun's feelings?" Hyungwon commented

Hoseok put a hand on Hyungwon's shoulder and shook his head no

"Kihyun don't forget I'm picking you up for your appointment tomorrow, please get some rest." Hoseok said 

"I'll try." Kihyun nodded 

He walked out of the door and down the street to his house

The next day

Kihyun skipped school he couldn't handle seeing Changkyun's face. Hyungwon came by after to deliver his homework.

"Changkyun was looking for you today." Hyungwon said

"What did you tell him?" Kihyun asked

"I told him that you were sick." Hyungwon replied

"Thanks, is Hoseok waiting outside?" Kihyun asked

"Yeah, we're supposed to tell my parents today that Youngmi is our daughter. They're gonna kick me out." Hyungwon said

"They won't kick you out and even if they do you have Hoseok and Youngmi to stay with." Kihyun responded

"How about we make a deal, If my parents kick me out the you have to talk to Changkyun." Hyungwon said

"You can forget that deal." Kihyun told him

"Come on he at least deserves to have one face to face conversation with you." Hyungwon replied

Kihyun rolled his eyes and waved goodbye to Hyungwon. Hyungwon left and went to his house with Hoseok. 

"Maybe I should talk to him." Kihyun replied

The time passed quickly and it was time for KIhyuns appointment. He got ready and then waited for Hoseok. He showed up not too long after Kihyun had went outside and he got in the car. 

"You excited?" Hoseok asked

"Not really, I'm more nervous than anything." Kihyun replied

"I was too, but when you get to hear the babies heartbeat it makes everything feel right." Hoseok smiled

Kihyun nodded and Hoseok started the car. The drive to the doctor was silent and when Hoseok parked in the parking lot it felt as if Kihyun's heart sank into his stomach. He got out of the car slowly and walked in with him. 

"I just realized you didn't have Youngmi." Kihyun said stalling 

"Hyungwon is at the house watching her." Hoseok replied

Hoseok opened the door to the doctor's office for him and he walked in and Hoseok followed. Kihyun looked around as Hoseok went to check him in. He sat down in a seat and waited to be called. 

"Kihyun." A familar voice called

Kihyun looked up and saw Changkyun standing there, he immediately looked back down. 

"What are you doing here?" Kihyun asked

"A little birdie told me you had a doctor's appointment today." Changkyun replied

"Hoseok." Kihyun glared at him

"It wasn't me I swear." Hoseok replied

"That's why Hyungwon's home so I wouldn't kill him." KIhyun replied

"Don't kill Hyungwon, if it wasn't for him I would have never got to see our baby for the first time." Changkyun said 

"Why do you care so much?" KIhyun asked

"Are you really asking me that question? Come on Kihyun you know the answer just as much as I do." Changkyun said 

"Well then you must not know." Kihyun responded

"Yoo Kihyun?" A nurse called

Kihyun stood up and walked to the back and Changkyun followed. The nurse pulled them into a room and did Kihyuns check up first. 

"Ok the doctor will be in with you shortly." She smiled

"Thank you." Changkyun and Kihyun both said 

Changkyun looked over at Kihyun laying back on the table. 

"You never answered my question." Kihyun said 

"What?" Changkyun responded

"Why do you care so much?" Kihyun asked again

"I'll talk to you after this appointment. You can ride back to my house with me. My parents aren't there so we can talk alone." Changkyun said 

"Last time your parents weren't home is how we ended up here." Kihyun responded

"I promise you, we'll just talk ok." Changkyun said 

Kihyun reluctantly nodded. The doctor came in and put the cold jelly on Kihyun's stomach before putting the ultrasound wand on his stomach. Changkyun and Kihyun both turned their heads towards the screen and looked at the doctor moved around a bit until she stopped 

"You both see that little dot right there?" She asked

They both nodded

"It's hard to tell right now but that's your baby." She smiled

"It's so tiny." Changkyun said 

"Our tiny baby." Kihyun responded

Changkyun smiled at him and for once he smiled back. Once the doctor was finished Kihyun wiped the jelly off and then went to check out. They scheduled him for another appointment in three weeks and he thanked them. He waved goodbye to Hoseok and got into Changkyun's car. 

At Changkyun's house

Changkyun opened the door for Kihyun to walk in first and he did. Once they were both inside Kihyun stayed standing

"Sit down." Changkyun said 

"I'm fine." Kihyun responded

"Alright suit yourself." Changkyun said 

"Answer my question and then you can take me home." Kihyun said 

"Are you really gonna act like that? We just seen our baby Kihyun it was special." Changkyun responded

Kihyun never really thought about that. He sat down on the couch and Changkyun sat down beside him.

"I chose you." Changkyun said 

"What?" Kihyun asked shocked

"I broke up with her, she was cheating with Hyunwoo anyway she didn't care about me but I cared about you Kihyun, the whole time it was you I cared about." He replied

Kihyun was in shock he put his hand on Changkyun's back rubbing it softly. Changkyun looked up and leaned in slowly, Kihyun didn't stop him. They kissed and it felt different, it was sweet unlike the other times they had kissed. Kihyun pulled away slowly and blushed.

"I love you Kihyun." Changkyun said 

"I love you too." Kihyun smiled
