Mahiru tears up at his friend. Other than Ryusei and Koyuki, (F/N) was the only friend he had. He had spent so much great moments with all three of them, especially (F/N). He had even developed a small crush on her.
"I'm sorry Mahiru-kun!" (F/N) frowns at her friend. She pulls him close and hug him tight, trying to hold back her tears. She felt Mahiru's tears dripping onto their shoulder. Ryusei and Koyuki watch sadly in front of them. They knew about Mahiru's crush.
"Do you really have to move away so far?" He hesitated. (F/N) looks down at her feet and nod. She couldn't bear seeing him cry. (F/N) just kept hugging him. She listens painfully as he cries into her shoulder. "But.. I don't want you to go!" He sobbed. "Please.. Stay here..."
"I'm sorry, Mahiru-kun... I promise I will come b-" "(F/N)!" "Coming, (parent/guardian)!"
(F/N) pulls away from the crying brunette, then hugged Ryusei and Koyuki. "Please take good care of Mahiru, Ryusei-chan and Koyuki-chan!" (F/N) smiles at them. Koyuki nods with a sad smile as Ryusei takes Mahiru's arm. She turns, picking up her small (Favourite color) backpack and gets ready to head off.
"Wait! (L/N)-chan..." (Y/N) blinks, hearing the voice. She turns around. "Mahiru-kun?" The boy looks at her, choking back his tears. "When we see each other again and are old enough, can we get married? To say it simply.. I have... a crush... on you." He gulps.
(F/N)'s face heats up as Ryusei and Koyuki stare in shock. Did he really gather enough courage to say that? To his crush? "M-Mahiru-kun, I-" "(F/N!!)" (Parent/Guardian's name) calls out to them as he/she walks towards Mahiru.

"We'll see you soon, okay? No need to worry." (Parent/Guardian's name) said softly as he/she rubs his head. They then wave to Ryusei and Koyuki, who waved back. (F/N) smiles sadly at Mahiru, Ryusei, and Koyuki. Mahiru was tearing up again.
"I'm sorry." She mouthed, then turned and took (Parent/Guardian's name)'s hand and walked towards car. Mahiru was standing there, shaking. When they got into the car, it was driving away after a few seconds.
"No..." Mahiru quietly screamed. "No.. No!! (F/N)-chan!!" He screamed and tried to run after the car. But it was no use. He fell onto the road and cried. "(F/N)-chan..." He sniffles.
"Please don't leave..."
Ryusei grabs his shoulder, picking him up. "Mahiru, she's going to come back."
--- Mahiru walked through the rain, wearing a plain white raincoat with Kuro tucked in his hood, and having an umbrella over them. It was raining as he was walking through the city, but everything looked so beautiful.
Kuro shivered. "Why did you have to go outside in the RAIN?! And why did you even force me to come?" He growled as he wagged his tail angrily. He wasn't wet since there was an umbrella protecting him, but he hated the cold.
"Hey, you did say that you wanted to know a little bit more about my past." Mahiru said. Kuro groaned. He did say that... That was one of the worst decisions he ever made.
Kuro looked to where Mahiru was walking. He blinked. A... cemetery?
Mahiru walked in and looked around. Kuro stayed quiet. Oh no, is this where it's going to lead to...?.... Mahiru soon reached a tombstone. The rain kind of stopped, and Kuro got out from his hood and turned to his human form.

"Mahiru...? What's this?" He asked, surprisingly concerned when he saw Mahiru shake. His eve smiled weakly, pointing at the tombstone. Kuro looked.
"Here lies (F/N) (L/N), a beloved girl who died at a young age. She will never be forgotten. Her smile lifted everyone's spirit and will continue to lift spirits."
"Oh, um." Kuro flinched. "Hm..." Mahiru just smiled even wider.
"She was my childhood friend... and crush. But she had to move away. The reason why is because she had a bad sickness and needed to go to Canada to get treated. ...She acted like everything was normal. She acted as if her (parent/guardian) had a job there and they had to move. But she never told me about the sickness. I guess she didn't want me to be devastated if she told me. She died before she got to Canada. She was brought back here and her funeral was held here."
Kuro flinched again. He understood what it felt like to lose someone. Like he killed his creator... the pain is so hard. He knows it took Mahiru days to recover from the news.
He turned to Mahiru.

"She used to smile like this, except more cuter and softer. Before I met her, she was the most emotionless girl ever. But when we became friends, I taught her so much emotions. Especially happiness."
He laughed bitterly. "She was so precious too..." Kuro stared.
...
"Ahaha, look." Mahiru quickly changed the subject, looking up at the sky. "It's not raining anymore, and I told you a bit about my childhood. Let's go back home and play video games, okay?" He smiled.
