It was a cool Sunday day and people were getting up at the butt crack of dawn to go to church. I happen to be one of those people.

I was not awoken to the sound of sweet birds or the sun slowly cascading my face. No I awoke to silence and I loved it. I jumped out of bed like it was on fire and said.

( picture of Betty) You see she and I live in an apartment complex and the rent is cheat and so are the walls. When I first moved in here 6 months ago Betty had a terrible boy friend and he would stumble in during the morning about the time I woke up and he and Betty would argue until noon.
So they have been my alarm clock for these 6 months, but not to day. She had finally broke up with him and I was extaic!
"What's going on up there?" There was a beating coming from my floor.
I dropped to the floor abruptly and yelled down. "It's happened JoJo! It's really happened, Betty has broken up with Jack!" I started rolling around on the floor and laughing.
"Hurray!! You hear that Albert he's gone!" JoJo said ecstatically.
"He is? Hot damn I'll get the champagne!" Albert say.
JoJo and Albert were a elderly gay couple who lived under me and dear friends.

I heard quick steps running around up stairs and then moments later a knock at my door.
I answered the door immediately and Albert and JoJo were there in their pajamas with champagne. JoJo grabbed my arm and pulled me out in to the hall were we raced up the stairs to Betty' s apartment.
