35~Another one Bites the Dust

I smirk and turn to her thinking of a plan "what?"

Isabella's POV

"And how do you expect me to reach them?"

"I'm sure Jason wouldn't mind pulling a few strings. Right?" Ethan's says

My dad walks to me "here. Take my hand. As I syphon power from you, I can reach them and you can see what I see" I nod and take his hand

After that it didn't take long for me to see a burned down old building

"All I can see is a building"

"Where?"

"I don't know but it's old and run down" "well that's really helpful" Ethan says

"Wait, remember that old building on 5th?" Brie says. "Yeah. Didn't a family lived there?" "Yep. The father killed his wife and kids then killed himself by burning the whole building" "now it's a rusty old building full of prostitutes and drug dealers"

"Wait...how do you know that?"

"I might have been there...once or twice"

"gross"

"Why would they show me this?" "The husband was a witch" my dad explains

"He did it to gain power and because of that made the whole place powerful. The ancestors say that that building has to be where the ritual has to happen"

Ethan's POV

We had decided to take action in the next few days

And after awhile I checked the clock n it was time to go after another follower

I tapped Brie on the shoulder. I whispered "we need to go" "Why?"

I didn't have a chance to tell her because I knew Isabella could be hearing

I just grabbed by jacket and headed for the door

"Where you going?" Isabella says as she sees me open the door. "Uh I've got places to be for your information"

She crossed her arms and read me like a book. "Please tell me you're not looking for trouble with Kate"

"Ok. I'm not looking for trouble with Kate"

She rose her eyebrow questioning me

"Bella I'm not. I'm going to a puppy shelter. Thinking of gettin a poodle"

"You know you're the worse lair ever right?"

"Fully aware"

We leave the house "So where are you going next?" Brie asked me still unaware of where exactly we were going

"You mean where we're going next?" I say she stops walking so I turn and face her

"What?" "I found another follower"

She sighs "oh come on he's a fresh vampire he can't do any harm. Last one, I promise. I just need answers"

NARRATION

Ethan and Brie are laying across a dark and narrow street

One where not many cars drive by

But today they were lucky, a car stops in front of them gets out and just stares at them

He puts his hands on his hips

"Are you two high or something?"

They get up "Not at the moment"

"Listen could you maybe do that somewhere else, people have places to be"

"no need to get attitude. We just wanna ask some questions" Ethan says

"Yeah I don't think so" the man try's to open his car but Ethan grabs his arm

"I wouldn't do that" the mans eye turn red and his veins glow underneath his eye

"We're not trying to" Ethan's flashes his yellow

The man steps back a little, slightly confused

"Woah" "yeah amazing right. Anyway we just need some answers on Kate"

"Yeah right. I'm not telling you anything" the man says leaning against his car

"Ok. We can do this the easy way or my way"

"Do I know you from somewhere" Brie says out of nowhere

The man frowns his eyebrows

"What?" Ethan says slightly annoyed but her remark

"I just feel like I've seen him before"

"Oh, maybe you saw me in the news recently I'm pretty popular right now" he says with a cocky tone along with a matching smirk

"oh my god" Brie says realizing where she remembered him

"Can someone tell me what's going on?" Ethan slightly shouts

"The last couple weeks the police have been looking for a man. This couple went on vacation and the girls family was killed. Yet they couldn't find the boyfriend anywhere"

"Spoiler alert! I killed them"

"Why would you do something like that?"

"She threatened to break up with me. I told her I would ruin her life is she did, her fault for not believing me"

"You're so sick" "I prefer mental"

Ethan grabbed his neck and slapped it in the car and the man laughed "where is she?"

"How am I supposed to know?"

"You were obviously going somewhere in a hurry" "I have better things to do"

"What are you even getting out of this?"

"Kate promised me the power I deserve"

Ethan chuckles "really? Dude she playing you. She doesn't care about you or anybody else" he steps closer to the man. He quickly punches him and pulls him up by his collar

"My brother died because of her" you could hear his voice slightly break to the sound of speaking his name. "Now where is she?"

"The church"

Ethan lets go and looks at Brie. She nods

"So what are you gonna do now? Kill me?" "Gladly"

Ethan grabs a steak from his back pocket and aims it at the man

The man quickly and forcefully rips into Ethans skin and grabs his heart as a reflex

He pushes his heart out.

He looks down and drops it, shocked of what he just did

He looks at Brie's face which is now as white as a ghost then runs off

Brie try's to kneel down with Ethan but her neck is suddenly snapped

She falls to the ground beside him
