The two parts that kept her together
Have Suddenly
Violently
Ripped apart
Now she waits in a far off corner,
Waiting for the world to piece itself back together.
Thinking of what she had done to cause such a tragedy
Pretending to be okay with this affliction in her eyes
And she hoped that everyone felt the same as her
Torn up inside
So she could have someone
And as time moves
Those pieces slowly drift
farther
and farther away.
Until that little girl
Is left by herself
In that far off corner
