this isn't funny but i just found it very upsetting and i wanted someone to share my pain with

me talking to my dad: "so how was your halloween."

dad:"it was a sad affair."

me:"what why?"

dad:"well... i kinda just layed in my bed and pretended it wasn't halloween."

by the way after he said that i gave him a giant hug because he was upset.
