[ 01 ] Jealous

Westwood High. Lunch break. Wednesday. September 9th. 12:30 PM. Sienna's POV.

"Are you guy's going to Carly's party this Friday?" I ask my two best friends, Lola & Courtney who are sitting across from me at the lunch table.

"Party? I didn't know she was having a party. Carly Milford right?" Lo replied taking a rest from eating her salad.

"Yeah her. I had some classes with her last year." I say.

I eat a mouthful of pasta.

"She's in my physics class. She's pretty nice actually." Courtney adds in.

"So are youse in?" I question them again.

"I'm in. You?" Courtney says looking at Lo.

"Sure. I cleaned out my closet last night. Do you guy's wanna come late night shopping with me tomorrow after school? I don't have many options to wear for the party now."

"Same here. I'm due for some shopping." I reply.

"Guess i'll go too dudes." Courtney says.

I take a sip of my lemon squash and giggle when I feel somebody tickle the sides of my waist from behind. Christian and his friends Miles, Kian and Joey sit down, spreading out between Lola, Courtney and I. Chris and i are feining. (A/N: feining: slang for when you're in a thing with someone. when it isn't offical but there is a lot of flirting going on and you both know how you feel about one another.) We have been for a couple weeks now. He's really great, we have a lot of fun together. he sits down beside me.

"Hey" I say to him.

"Hi. How are you?" he replies with his gorgeous smile.

"Pretty gooood. Are you and the rest of the gang up for Carly Milford's party friday night?"

"Yeah we should be. I will be if you're going" He says this will a cheeky look on his face. He's so cute. Y'know, he just makes me feel...free. It feels like he sets me free, as cheesy as that sounds.

I get all warm and fuzzy on the inside and give him a shy, sweet smile after he says it. He rests his hand on top of mine, which is sitting palm downward on the table.

We look over to where Kian was sitting, next to Lola, since he began to do a fake cough.

"So uh..." he coughs once more. "When are you two gonna..." another cough. "tie the knot?"

Lola giggles at his question.

I roll my eyes at him and Christian just shakes his head and smiles at Kian.

"I'm gettin drinks" Miles says getting up. He asks Courtney, "You coming babe?".

"Sure" She replies.

Miles and Courtney have been dating for nearly a year. They're a great match.

I turn around when I hear a female laugh. I see Christians ex, Vanessa a few metres away. They didn't date for very long but she is so clearly not over him and hates my guts.

"Did you have fun last night?" Christian asks me.

"Yes of course i did. I had a lot of fun." I reply. He invited me over and we went swimming last night. "Speakin-"

I stop my sentence when I see Vanessa and her friends walk over and they sit where miles and Courtney were before, across from us.

Christian grunts.

"Christian...why didn't you answer my texts last night?" She says and gives me a dirty look.

"Oh uhh...I was with Sienna." He says with a dopey smile pointing to me.

She clenches her jaw and manages to slip out a fake smile with a "Right!"

The next few moments was a bit of an awkward silence.

"Sienna... what were you saying?" He asks me.

"Oh I was- um Y'know, don't worry"

"What?" He asks.

"I was just going to give you this back." I pull out his jacket that he let me borrow from last night since I got cold after swimming. "Thanks for letting me borrow it"

"Oh cheers" He takes his jacket.

Vanessa gives a short laugh and sighs getting up and says "Christian...i'll text you tonight. It would be nice if you could pay just some of your time so we can chat yeah? you use to do that a lot." and gives me another dirty look before trotting off.

"Bitch" Christian says with a small laugh.

A/N: thoughts? opinions? i have no idea where this story is going if i'm honest but i hope you enjoyyyy. I'm hoping this chapter ended with just the right about of drama ;)
