CHAPTER 9

Its already 3pm. I'm here at the Margaritas Cafe Shop naghihintay kay Rio. I just wore a plain t-shirt and shorts, nothing to dress special and lazy din ako maghanap ng mga outfits.

I just sip a coffee ng tumunog ang bell ng glass door hudyat na may papasok na tao, and I knew it was him when I smell his perfume.

"Rio.." Pangalan lamang nya ang lumabas sa aking bibig ng magtagpo ang aming mga mata. Its been months na hindi kami nagkita when I moved here in PH. At, maraming nagbago sakanya, he's matured now.

"Tititigan mo nalang ba ako Nik? I am so handsome now?" He said and chuckled and I just rolled my eye.

"Sit. I already ordered your favorite coffee." I said and sip my coffee.

"Thank you, babi." He said and winked at me. Even though his matured now, I can still see the Rio that I knew noon paman.

"How are you doing?" He asked, "How's school? nagpapahinga ka ba ng maayos?"

"Life is fine, school is also fine. May reporting kami this monday." I answered.

"Oh, goodluck! alam kong successful ang report na 'yan." He said and smiled at me.

"Thank you." I said, "Ikaw, how about your life?" I also asked him. Gusto kong malaman kung anong ginagawa nya nung wala ako at anong kinaaabalahan nya sa buhay.

"I have an OJT here in Philippines, and I'm starting also this monday." He said. Rio is already 4th year college, taking doctor, unlike me still in 1st year college taking business administration. 

"Oh, that's nice. Goodluck then!" I smiled at him.

"You told me that your Lola wants to meet me." He said.

"Yeah. But don't bother, I just told her na busy ka." I said. Alam ko naman na hindi siya papayag na ma meet ang family ko, so huwag nalang kahit labag sa loob ko.

"I'm sorry. Just told your Lola, na I'm a good boyfriend hehe." He said, napairap nalang ako sa sinabi nya.

"Anong good sayo? wala naman ha!"

"If walang good sa akin, why do you love me? ha!" Protesta nya.

Napatigil ako sa sinabi nya. He never asked me before why do I love him, bakit nga ba? gusto siya ng puso ko eh, my hearts want him so badly, me also, I want him.

"You look serious." Nabalik ako sa sitwasyon namin ng magsalita sya.

"I loved you because I love you, no reason." I just said and smiled.

"May problema ba baby?" He asked, umiling lang sako sakanya, "If you have problem, talk to me. I'm always here for you." Dagdag nya.

"I don't have. I just....miss you." I said, hinawakan nya ang kamay ko at pinisil ito.

"I'm here now, lets enjoy habang magkasama tayo." He said and smiled widely.

Having him is a gift from God. I feel safe whenever I'm with him, I'm secured, I'm happy, feel loved by him.
