Days must have gone by when Sage finally woke up. The position in which she had slept on the cement floor, surged a knifing pain through her joints. She slowly opened her eyes, but not much seemed to change. Everything was completely dark except for a little window 3 meters above her from where a faint light poured in, revealing the obscure contours of the cell she had found herself in. "What the.." She murmured, for a moment thinking she was still dreaming.

A sudden grunt came from the opposite side of the gloomy cell. Sage's heartbeat quickened almost thundered, but she gathered herself and, "Is anybody there?", she asked hesitantly while scooching herself up, leaning hard against the wall while doing so to keep herself from collapsing in pain.
