Emptiness. That's what I felt.
After my parent's death I felt nothing. Not a single thing could cheer me up. I was always grumpy and annoyed at everything and everyone that would come in my way.
I was walking down the school's hallway. Of course, no one dared to look at me, or even touch me. In this school, Darthwood High, I was known as the 'Bad Girl'. I was always in trouble, getting detentions, kicked out of schools, messing with the police and a lot of other shit.
"Melanie, guess what, guess what, guess what!" I heard Olivia scream from behind me.
"God, how many times do i have to tell you not to scream like that.", i said annoyed.
"Oh come on Mel, cheer up a little bit. Because..
I looked at her waiting to continue.
"Jayden asked me out on a date!", she said jumping up and down.
I only rolled my eyes at that. I don't have time for boys, or even care about going on a date. They're all the same, use you until they get bored and then dump your ass.
Olivia was that kind of girl that likes to party and have fun. A redhead, blue eyed chick that everyone loves. I was totally opposite from that.
With black hair that comes till the end of my back, smokey grey eyes and I don't mean to brag but, I do have a nice body, I just don't show it like a slutty bimbo.
I have no idea how we are friends, we just clicked. Even tho we are nothing similar to each other, I still love and trust her more than anyone.
She looked at me disappointed, "Can't you just smile once in a while, anything would look good beside that frown on your face."
Again, i rolled my eyes. There's no reason for me to smile anymore. My happiness was gone the minute I found out my parents were dead.
We separated our ways and went to class we had. I sat in the back and put my feet on the desk and start to play games on my phone like i always do. I was in the middle of winning Danger Mouse when I got interrupted by a loud noise.
"Melanie, for the last time put your phone down or i will send you to the principal!", Mr. Banks yelled.
"And for the last time I don't fucking care. Send me to whoever you want I really don't give a shit.", i snapped.
He seriously looked angry this time, like I'm not even kidding. At one point i thought steam was gonna come out of his ears.
"That's It, get out of my class, I don't have time for your silly games!", he yelled again.
I got up and went out, I couldn't care less If he was gonna kick me out or not. I was bored anyways.
I went behind the school where no one hardly ever goes, I took a pack of cigarettes and took one out and put it in between my teeth. I looked for a lighter and couldn't find it.
'Shit. You have got to be kidding me. Out of all the times now you forget to bring the fucking lighter.' I told my self conscience.
I was about to throw the cigarette when someones' hand lighted it up. I looked up at the person, It was a boy around my age and I have never seen him before. But he was madly gorgeous.
Brown fluffy hair, hazel eyes and plump lips. Also, a body that every girl would swoop on.
But not me.
"Umm, thanks.", i told him confused. Where the hell did he come from.
He nodded his head with a smirk. "No problem sweetheart, but what are you doing here all alone. Shouldn't you be in class?"
