He's a player in our school.

He got the fame, looks, and brain.

Typical guys that every girl could imagine.

Well as for me, I am just an average girl.

Having fun, living life to the fullest. Not so smart but I can catch up with sports and academics too, hindi lang talaga kasing galing ng iba.

I am also part of our varsity team called the lady blue eagles.

I only entered basketball because of my classmate and he was my crush back then.

Kung nasaan kase siya, nandun din ako. Kung ano ang sinasalihan niya, sinasalihan ko rin.

One time, my friends suggested that I should confess my feelings towards him. So I have no choice but to confess.

My plan was to invite him on my debut party and asked if he would like to be my 18th roses and be my escort.

Thats the time I would confess.

In the end, he refused my offer.

He don't like to be the last rather he would like to be the 17th roses.

It's fine with me as long as he's there.

When the party came, everything feels magical.

I am on my long red gown with a tiara on my head. Chin up, while walking on the grand entrance.

The ceremony took fun and the emcee announced that the 18 roses would start.

My first dance was my father, followed by my cousins and my blockmates.

Until the emcee called his name.

"Tobby Santiago!"

Yung kasayaw ko before Tobby nagbigay lang nang mapang-asar na mukha at umingay yung mga kaibigan at blockmates namin.

The camera focused on us as he slowly walking to me.

Eventhough I wear high heels, he's still taller than me.

We slowly dance. Hindi ko alam kung paano ko uumpisahan.

Kinakabahan kase talaga ako, tumitingin lang ako sa kanya. Hindi naman kame awkward dalawa eh, close naman kame.

"Uy gwapo natin ngayon ah!"

"Salamat. Ikaw din, ngayon ka lang gumanda." sabi nya habang tumatawa.

"Bwisit ka!"

Tawa lang kame nang tawa. Hindi ko alam kung makakaamin pa ako.

Bahala na nga. Kinikilig ako eh.

Ayun na nga, 'di ako naka-amin sa kanya ng personal. Kaya tinadtad na naman ako ng mga kaibigan ko umamin na. Wala naman daw mawawala sa akin eh.

So chinat ko siya, sinabi ko na may gusto ako sa kanya. Yung reaksyon niya? Ayun tawa lang ang ni-reply sa akin. Tawang-tawa nga raw siya sa akin eh.

"I like you Alexis, but only as a friend. Mabait ka naman, maganda, matalino pero sometimes you really act as a child. Ayoko kase sa mga immature. Sorry Lex."
