Troye and Jenna sit in Tyler's room while he sleeps in his bed, being sent home by the nurse and the two friends insisting they come along. The small boy had a high fever, resulting in the nurse calling home and Kelly agreeing to pick the three children up. Jenna looks to Troye sighing heavily, "I wish there were something we could do for him. I hate seeing people in pain and not being able to do anything about it." Her glance moving over to the boy laying in bed.

Troye nods as he looks over to Tyler as well, "we did as much as we can, he'll be alright." He speaks, knowing full well that Jenna is protective over everyone, her motherly side coming out more often than not. Especially with Tyler. Something about the boy just screams he needs protection. Maybe it's his innocence or how small the boy is, but he gives off an aura of caution, encouraging Jenna's motherly instinct.

The blonde stands up, moving to the silver mirror in Tyler's room, observing her reflection as she fixes her hair, "yeah, you're right. I just care too much." She observes Troye in the mirror for a second as she speaks, moving her gaze back to her bright blonde hair, flattening any flyaways. A ripple moves from the center of the mirror as Jenna locks eyes with her own, reflection warping in the slightest, going unnoticed by the girl looking into the mirror.

Tyler shifts slightly in his bed, groaning and rubbing his eyes before sitting up, shocked to see his two friends in his room, "what are you guys doing here? Shouldn't you be in school?" A sneeze wracked his whole body after the question was asked, Jenna making sympathetic eyes at the sick boy.

Troye stood up moving to Tyler's side, smiling slightly, "we weren't gonna leave ya. Kelly was fine with it, she said we could keep you company while she went back to work." Putting a hand on his forehead, feeling the heat radiate off his flushed skin and grimacing slightly. How has he gotten so sick so quickly? "Lay down, Jenna and I will make you some soup." Glance darting over to the mentioned for a second, seeing her nod in approval of the suggestion.

A few hours later, Troye and Jenna are gone, Kelly having come home from work, thanking the two friends for staying with Tyler. When she walked up the stairs, entering Tyler's room, she saw him curled up under the blankets fast asleep, a bowl of half eaten soup on his bedside table. A quick kiss to the forehead and she left him to continue sleeping, hoping for a quick recovery.

Tyler stirs in his sleep as a soft tapping resounds through his room, falling asleep again. The sound happens again a few minutes later, waking the sick boy fully, a groan slipping past his slightly chapped lips as he rubs his eyes. Tapping sounds again, Tyler jerking his head in the direction of the sound. He gets up from his bed, moving towards the wall that his mirror hangs on, hearing the sound one more time.

Tyler stops in front of his mirror, observing his reflection, expecting the sound to happen again. Instead, he's met with his image rippling wildly, the glass moving like liquid, intriguing Tyler's curiosity. A dainty hand reaches out to caress the warping reflection, hand moving through the glass, a loud gasp escaping the small boy as he retracts his hand quickly. Stepping away from the mirror, clutching his hand, he feels a pull almost, begging him to touch the mirror again.

He steps forward with hesitant feet, raising a now shaky hand to the rippling reflection once again. Feeling more confident now, he shoves his hand forward, going further this time. A wide smile crosses Tyler's face, questions feeding his never ending curiosity.
