Groggily I squint my eyes open a tremendous amount of light blinding me, and for a moment I believed all this was a dream that I was still in the void waking up from one of the best dreams yet, but soon my eyes focused harder onto my surroundings and I found myself covered in leaves and moss, I groan rubbing my head the colour gushing through my eyes my brain trying to calculate the missed scenery , glanceing up confused as to why I ached but seeing as there was a large gap through the trees showing where I must have fell through revealing the pitch black sky of earth, realisation hit me and I glance down to my hands feel in them shake under the pressure of the mud below me, I gently cup up some and poured it out of my hand watching the grains fall and hit the ground, I was back, I was real, a sound hit me and I jump up confused and spun to it, only to find
It was a squirrel a small little might nibbling away at a small nut, it stopped and glared at me before hopping up a tree, I found it depressing I never got it in time, just the feel of its fur in between my fingernails sounded satisfying, I leapt around grabbing sticks throwing rocks experimenting with the little things I'd missed out on, I even climbed a tree to a bird's nest, I was about to stroke the three baby's which welped for their mother only for them to shiver at my touch, then they made no sound, just silent, I poked one and it flinched, it suddenly began to grow, its feather fallng off and beack curving until it became a Fox, it snarled snatching up one of the baby's, its own sibling and I grab the other eager for it not to meet the same fate,
A bird to Fox!?
What?
The Fox ate the baby in a gulp and glared at me devishly, it whimpers slightly its small tabby body shivering, emediatly before the Fox could attack I pushed it off and It fell to its death, covering the baby birds eyes I found myself grinning to the crunch of its bones and the small innocent baby birds heart leaping out of its chest, i tap the bird on the nose and it squiled, not like a bird, like a pig, its wings and feathers tore out and it grew a stubby flesh nose, it grew incredibly heavey and began to squirm and i was forced to drop it, i hopped down discovering the corpse's both lying lifeless on the ground, one pig and one fox I found myself shifting to wolf my body flaring with pain and burning with energy, I spent no time dwelling over it and scoffed at them tearing out their ribs and cracking their skulls with a simple squish of my paw, it felt amazing, the drizzle of blood crawling down my throat and the hunks of flesh lingering between my teeth, I was starving, i hadnt eaten for almost 4 years and the feast of these mysterious critters pleased me, my mind didn't even bother asking how I did it, how did they change species over a singe touch?
I sniff the ground once I'd eaten, only leaving white bones for the ground to absorb, so many senses ramming up my nose I took a whole mapping out the area, a long stretching trees surrounded me which belonged to a small pack of wolves, I knew if I didn't get away they'd be here to challange me or warn me off,  my bones aren't the strongest at the moment and I don't plan on dieing any time soon, a lone road led ahead, maybe 6 or 7 miles away, I glance up to the moon figureing had enough time to get there at noon tomorrow, im not in a hurry,
Im back and kicking

Artemis POV
The meetings got worse and worse by the day, No one dared complain, even when half the boys in camp half blood kept sneaking over to steal our arrows or flirt with the girls,
Zeus was never happy, he'd be lost in thought whenever somone asked him a question, I don't blame him, all this time we'd been after a traitor who turned out to be innocent,  the boy risked his life countless times and now he can't even rest in peace, while the years went by Posieden guilt finally overcame him, he'd refuse to attend meetings for almost a year but returned much better then before, he made a statue of his beloved son in camp, a marbled smooth surfaced one lingering the smell of the ocean hoping one day the fates will have mercy and bring him back, on the day he died we would lay flowers or thoughts, how many now we've lost count, the flowers would die over the night and flow away leaving the statue untouched

"...so anymore problems or are we done?" Zeus asks tierdly rubbing his face,
We weren't done, we'd barley even talked and that was Appollo trying to amuse us with humour and Hermes saying how his son's, the stolls stole an entire cart of weapons over a minute but I shut him up knowing how each word stung my uncle Posieden, losing your child is the worst feeling for a parent, he was unable to intervene with his life until 13 and then they were distant, all those missed experiences, his first steps or his first sports matches

"Father, i-i." I began but no words can out, I couldn't thing of anything to say and just closed my mouth again remaining silent, he sighed readying to end the meeting until a gush of shock hit me, all of us jolted in our sheets Dionysus even stumbled out of his seat with Hades their hands out trying to steady themselves, Aphrodite fainted and Ares groaned rubbing his head as he sloutched deep into his throne, I rock forward slightly but had Apollo to catch my fall, i of which was greatful,

"What was that?" Athena mutters as we shrug, Demtre let out a sigh suddenly shivering, she didn't seem like herself, she was cold and pale faced as her teeth chatters

"I-Im so-so cold," She stutters as Aphrodite woke and snapped her fingers making a whole winter cloak surround her, and yet she was shivering
"It's not me, its inside, I..." She began as Appollo squiled

"Eww somthings inside you?!" He wailed even making Zeus smile to see his childish sons face cringe

"No you dimwit! It's weird, urgh Im gonna be sick!" She managed as Appolo dashed over to her aid, I was confused as to what made this sudden spark, to some degree my father seemed excited, ever since Kronos and Geae faded we had no threats, no major ones I mean, there still was monsters, but there was no flare to these meeting and they were just to waste or chat of time, but now, its an interest,

"Maybe it's a new God?" I suggest as they glare at me as though insane

"I think we have enough Gods don't you think?" Athena questions as i shrug

"Just a guess-"

Ares popped in

"Maybe a boss monster! Let's go kill it!"Ares chanted making Dionysus chuckle
"What you lauguing at man?" Ares snarled as Dionysus waved a hand

"Oh nothing brick head, you were beaten by a near child and you think you can kill that monster?" He mutters pulling out a magazine as Ares went bright red

"Will you stop dragging that! It was his first quest he got lucky we were at the beach! If we were in the Sahara desert who'd be laughing then?!"

"Not you."

"Stop your arguing we obviously have better and more severe problems at hand!" I snap making all the Gods pause, I shake my head rubbing my temples the pain surfacing again
"I'll sent a few of my hunters to check up on it, if its bad I'll inform you straight away." I manage before flashing off unable to last another second under the suspense, my stomach ached terribly a lump forming at my throat, it was weird, I felt sad, but had no reason to be, whenever I'd catch the reason it would slip away, I finally appeared at my camp a bunch of hunters glancing my way, Cathy came running noticing something was wrong

"M'Lady what is the matter?" She asks in a rush holding my arm as i rubbed my head for a thirty time trying to sooth the pain

"I don't know, all the Gods haven't been under the best of weather." I mutter taking a step forward

"Maybe it'll be best if you go straight to bed today, we''ll finish up here and bring you  go to bed." She beams as i smile glad for a great girl to be apart of my hunt, just the remembrance of the first day she came, her hair and body soaked with water and her baby blue eyes glaring up at me,

"No, its alright-"

"No, your going, we don't mind," she announced tilting her head to a few of the girls
"Am I right!?" She asks as they all nod, Pheobe came over asking the same questions and agreed to Cathys suggestion leading me to my tent not accepting no for an answer, i remind her of the threat and how far it was, maybe almost 30 miles away and moving, yeah I did the math of the cowardenates and told her to take a bunch of newbies for the experiance,

"Pheobe If the threat is large you must promise me to come back as fast as you can, Im trusting you on this Dont let me down." I say sternly as i sat down tearing of a shoe, I saw her pount but grab the map

"Of course M'Lady, I'll do my best." She manages as i nod

"Set off just before dawn, I suppose whoever it is will be sleeping and I hope that'll give you a head start, get some rest and pick wisely." I say before hoping into bed all my muscles relaxing under the cotton bed and soon I was asleep.
