She couldn't believe him. All these years, she trusted him with her heart and mind. His warm eyes and kind smile guided her to happiness. It all started with a simple date, candlelight and a fancy dinner, movies and a warm blanket. They were a happy two. Her blue eyes stared into his brown eyes that shone as they kissed goodnight. She never knew it would end like this.
Her mind was elsewhere as she was guided into a room, dark and gray. Her captors released her as she yelled at them but they only walked towards her, held her with such ease, and chained her up. The 2 men then walked away, grinning at her one last time. One of them went to a glass window that the 2 men could see through and the other left. Her mind suddenly turned to reality as she stared at the man dressed in black and held shotguns. His lifeless gray eyes shone directly at her as she struggled against the metal chains.
"You can't escape Caroline." The man said behind glass windows. He tapped his shotgun on the window as she drew back, disgusted.
The other came back, leading a man... she knew him. She screamed at him but the man in the black clothing opened the door and threw him in, then locking it. She screamed some more. What use does it have? Nothing, but she screamed until the man looked up. She stopped. The man with the brown eyes.
"What do you want from me?" She yelled. She struggled against the chains.
"Oh I wanted to see my baby for the last time, Caroline." He cooed as he inched closer to her face, his brown eyes illuminating the memories like a movie in a dark theater. His smiles coming back as if for the first time.
"I only want what's best for my darling," He swept his dark hair out of his face and grabbed her hands. She wrenched them away from his grasp. He smiled a cold grin, that was new.
"You were the best thing that ever happened to me, Caroline, but now, you must know why they brought you here." He pointed towards the glass to the men in black. He stood, kissed her one last time and wiped a tear from his eye. This was the end and she knew it.
He walked to the door and opened it, then pulled a lever and the room filled with a stench that smelled like rotten flesh. She held her breath but then she let her breathe touch the rancid air she was left in to die. It was only an illusion, the brown eyes, the warm smile and the sweet tone of voice. All but an illusion to reveal he was a killer, a cold blooded murderer. He tore away his clothes to reveal a black suit and black boots, grabbing a shotgun. He was one of them and she could do nothing about it as the world faded to a black she never knew.
