SM have officially confirmed that Jonghyun has passed away. I'm honestly in a terrible state of shock and sadness right now. I don't want to believe that you're gone, I've been a massive shinee fan for years. Shinee and Jonghyun will always be in my heart and I will forever be thankful for his amazing inspirational words and music. He was an incredible human who I've looked up to for years. I am deeply heartbroken and my love and condolences goes out to his family, friends, fans and of course the other shinee members. Thank you for everything, thank you for your hard work, thank you for your music and thank you for your help and your inspiration. You're too good for this world, I hope you sing your heart out up there. May you rest in peace. 🖤
Mental health is so. Important. I cannot stress that enough. Please! If you see/hear someone saying they want to die, feel alone, etc, don't ignore them or respond to them like "ha me too!". Please approach this person and ask if they're okay, check in on them. Not everyone is happy and it's so important to be aware of that, suicide rates are so high. Suicide and mental health as a whole is NOT something that should be glorified, romanticised and not taken seriously because I can tell you from experience that the feeling is indescribable and for people not to take you seriously? It's awful. Please be more aware and if you sense something is off about someone or you're concerned about someone please check in on them, you never know you could be saving their life. Please be aware of what you're saying to someone, words are VERY powerful.
