Eternal Suffering

Satan|Prologue

When you here the word "Satan" what is the first thing that comes to mind? Evil.

But before all that, before he was the epitome of evil and horror, he was an angel. Lucifer Morningstar at that. An angel that provides light to the humans in times of need. What happened? what circumstances led him to being the most gruesome villain of all time?

An apple. Wasn't it?

He told a human to eat an apple.

Funny it may seem, but the apple contains all the roots of evil.

or wasn't it?

Here is a story, that might shock you, offend you and your religious ideals, or simply astound you.

There is no God.

In fact, there was never an angel.

There is a world, far different from ours, far dangerous and uncompelling. That is a world, that the things that happen, we can never imagine. That is the world that the winged creatures despised.

Opened another world, and coexisted with humans and their peaceful surroundings. These creature believed that they were far more superior, far more intelligent that they used it to their favor.

Knowing that the humans will never be united, they introduced them a religion. A religion that tells us that there is a God watching over us, who made us, who is more powerful than any living creature, and that if defied, will receive punishment in their afterlife.

These winged creatures named themselves "angels" such a beautiful name that they don't deserve. You see, they are selfish. More than that, they control everything a human does, by simply writing out rules from a stone.

The apples, they found delicious. They wanted to keep it to themselves among other fruits that they liked. They told the humans that if they eat it, they will be sinned.

And alas, Lucifer was born. Knowing this, he probably thinks it's wrong. It's wrong to fool other creatures, it's wrong to look down on them and take advantage. Instead, they should be more gracious, as the world was theirs from the start.

So he offered them the apple.

The angels were not pleased.

They convinced themselves that sooner or later, Lucifer would betray them and tell the whole truth to the humans, the truth that there is no God. Only angels trying to manipulate them. As the word spread out, Lucifer was cursed as a punishment.

Cursed to the day he'll die. He was cursed to be an ugly, menacing creature. With horns resembling the bull, hairly legs and hooves like the horses, a pig-like face, and reddish skin. He was forced to live like a mindless creature with nothing but unbearable pain and anguish.

Then called him "Satan"

Making every living being believed that anyone who listened to his words shall be considered as sinned and rot to hell for eternity.

They weren't content, as Lucifer tried his best to find a way out and tell everyone what he knows, they created a pit with boiling heat for him to suffer forever. He fought, he fought every way he can, trying to release the humans from the hands of the greedy angels.

He did not succeed.
