Chapter 1

I knew it was going to be a sucky day the minute i saw the Gorgon. I had already faced that loser before and really, she was starting to get on my nerves. I looked down at my jeans and made sure i had my dagger. Somehow, nobody ever noticed the red sheath i carried around. Also, no one ever seemed to notice the monsters. I analyzed the situation and figured that i had tome to tie my mid-back length hair up in a pony tail. As soon as that was finished I unsheathed my dagger. "Not today, you ugly snake- infested titan!" I charged into the way of the monster screaming random battle cries and receiving strange looks from pedestrians. The Gorgon was ready for my attack and i got a scratch on my left shoulder from one of her razor-like talons. I immediately went into defense mode and kicked her to the ground with my brown combat boots. I stood over and swiftly, despite my blood loss, brough the dagger across her chest and she dissapeared into dust.

I felt woozy and pain was coursing through my body. i really hoped that those talons weren't poisoned! I took a peek at my grey button-up shirt and immediately regretted it. My whole left shoulder and more was covered in blood! Blood didn't scare me. No,luckily, or i would've been toast. "Great," I thought "there goes my favorite shirt!" the world started to get bleary and i could faintly make ut two large orange shirts walking towards me. I was much too weak to care. At the sight of the word on the shirt " half-blood" i blacked out
